This should explain all. Schneiderlin and Rodriguez not for sale. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/28542225 So on to Carvalho, Lars Bender, or Khedira.
Basically he waas told that him ( and Rodriguez) will not go anywhere. Unless they want to come up with a transfer request. He should be thankful though, as ArsenalJake mentioned, that he is not going to the Tiny Totts.
Okay gotcha. Like Suarez and pool last season, it's nice to see this occasionally. Soton is routinely raided and it's their right to enforce the contract as long as they want/can.
I only watch 2 MOu games per year...some times 3. I would encourage everyone else do the same. Watched more united last year than ever...so fun! Sucks that probably won't be the case this year....oh well, there is always that comedy troop down the street to entertain us.
With a transfer request, the player will automatically forfeit his percentage of the transfer fee. (IIRC may be up to 8 or 10 %). That is a boat load of money to leave on the table for a player like Scheinderlin.
I can watch a MU game from time to time. Pool was fun last year. Everton and Man city are worth watching as well. But Chelsea games are a punishment for me. Not an attractive team to watch.
Then go root for Mourinho if you don't give a ******** about the kind of football that is played. Go park 11 men behind the ball and hope for a 1:0 win or penalties like he did while winning at Inter. If you truly think Pep's Barcelona squad and Mourinho's Inter squad are looked at equally than good for you. For me, I want to win trophies, certainly, but I want to do it playing beautiful football and doing things the right way.
Fair enough. I don't have that history. Came to soccer in 2002 and Arsenal in 2008. I'm a new convert and certainly do not have that level of insight. That said, I was at the Emirates last year for the beauty of Wilshere's goal against Norwich which was almost a religious experience. I appreciate the beauty of well played football and, I think, am thankful to Wenger's role in that.
It's written into their contracts and is individually-based, I would assume. I think it's SOP to add that clause in most European contracts though.
I'm fuhkin witcha, my point is that YES we love the free flowing stuff BUT sometimes that doesn't work. That's all.
