Honestly, we haven't actually looked as bad as the scoreline suggests. Both teams have been pretty even, but the horrible mental lapses have run the score up.

No Shit. Every summer a top ten team in the world shows our team the astronomical gap between crap soccer and real football. Meyer and AJ are no enigma's they would be typical American born and bred players, who unfortunately will never, ever see the light of another league and couldn't secure a job in Iceland or El Salvador and should pray everyday they were born in this country.

So when Man United wins this 6-1 or 7-0, I hope the soccer hating media., ESPN radio, 710 and Soccer Hating Nazi's overlords on 1090 AM and 570 Am don't get on the radio tomorrow an absolutely mind-******** those line straddling soccer fans into a ferver and bring them to the NFL dark side where they can use this match as an example of lame soccer is and why real americans should hate it.

Remember its the summer time.. And European right of passage begins of there football destroying out soccer and doing mental damage to our fans, our kids, our direction. It makes me think why we as a fan of MLS pay to be abused every summer. Should call it the MLS-Masochist's club.

Sad though that our best defender so far has been Leonardo...

Or midfield and attack has been good, actually, its our back line that's weak.

It’s was always going to be a slow process. Hoping/expecting it to happen in the next 20 years is just setting yourself up for disappointment. It’s like England starting up a Baseball league and 20 years later expecting to compete with the Yankees.

More to the point MLS just isn’t set up to have a team like United.

At least we get to see Opare and Meyer in the center. Of course that probably means Leo starts against Seattle.

I'd like to see the galaxy achieve that status before I go six feet under in about 40-50 years with god's good grace.

So what's up with Lando? Is he really THAT out of it, that he really doesn't bother to get his enthusiasm up for a mere "friendly" against Man U?

That first half was atrocious. Man U put a lot of pressure on our midfield and we struggled putting any numbers forward. That led to us being continuously overrun.

Man U commentators and pre-game guys said specifically Landon has been benched based on form. I’m not sure if they know something official or something else.

Damn. We likely will see him against Seattle.

Wynalda making something out of nothing. I honestly don't care if he plays tonight. Makes him fresher for Seattle. The fact that Wynalda is comparing it to a "benching" is laughable. (Edit - see the edit!)

EDIT: Oh, didn't know that! I just checked lagalaxy's twitter feed and see nothing.

That to me sounds like an excuse for Landon going to Bruce and saying,

"Hey Bruce, I'm sitting this one out. I'm too old to be part of a game that really doesn't mean anything. I'd rather be on the bench."

I think our problem is communication. We are literally running into each other too much.
