    we all African, bro

I cant see them booting Messi but those Catalans ride for Catalans first. When they ran out Dinho, I saw through their game.

I read Zlatan's autobiography and he said that Pep had trouble dealing with people with egos like him, Ronaldinho, Henry, and Eto'o. Not that Zlatan seems to be fun to deal with, but it seems that Pep may not deal with disharmony at all.

Pep is a dictator, but the press likes him more than they like Mourinho. Mourinho is ACTUALLY a better man manager, but a worse press coddler

It's interesting how Wenger decides to spend unusually more money than before, now that his final years are approaching. Wish he and the board did this earlier.

Yeah think a physical player like Yaya but more defensive. Great tackling ability, good reading of the game, decent passing, physical beast (portugal, but he shouldnt have a problem in the pl) and 22 years old.

Arsenal and United have been scouting him for a while. The reason he isnt at a big club is that no one was really willing to hit the release clause for such a young player playing in Portugal. But he is already good, and has even more potential. If we are after him Wenger will have to lay down the cash because Sporting wont sell, unless Carvalho starts rocking the boat. Appearantly hes an Arsenal fan too.

Rakitic, Ter Stegen, Bravo, they brought back Deulofeu and Rafinha and apparently they're buying 2 defenders.

Not getting Khedira for me is dissappointing. I mean going on his age I prefer Carvalho but I have a feeling if we don't get Khedira Wenger may just say 'well we have Daiby/Flamini/Arteta already'.

Nah that was scumbag Rosell, which I wouldn't blame Barca at all for trying to get rid of any print he left in the club if they were problem is the whole board is just clueless.

Yup... I think the next (big) signing will be late August or not at all.

Just to take things out of context, "Balotelli is currently in New York on holiday following his World Cup exploits with the Azzurri, but is expected to link up with his club team-mates for their US tour early next week."

Given Wenger's quotes (http://arseblog.com/2014/07/another-striker-signing-its-a-no-go/), here's my guess for the rest of the summer:

    GK- happening. Ospina. Good signing.
CB- if Vermaelen leaves, we sign another one.
MF- if/when Diaby or another midfielder gets injured this summer, we buy another MF for coverage.

I actually think this is fine, though I would like to see a Remy-level striker come in. I'm terrified of the idea that if Giroud has a long-term injury this season that we'd be sending Sonogo out there on a regular basis.

It's still only July so I'm not too worried about it. I think Wenger will sort out one more signing before the window closes not including Ospina.

Wellington Siva officially on season long loan with Almeria. I don't know what his visa status is but historically players that are loaned out this much rarely come back to North London in any meaningful way.

I didn't realize that Schneiderlin counts as homegrown. If that's the case, that might end up being a good signing.

Meh.. can't help but be a little let down if we don't sign a MF after all the speculation about Khedira. We all know Diaby won't last and Flamini/Arteta would be the weak link. I'm more concerned about that position than I am about adding another attacking option.

If either Flam or Arteta start consistently again we are screwed. They have shown they art not good enough to start. They need to be on the bench.
