Well Sanchez isnt a striker. Im sure he could make do there if we have to use him, but he has always been a winger. On the left for Udinese and on the right for Barca. Its good to have the depth regardless. Remy can also play on the wings, and his pace is great.
Thank god you are here. Last year we had a guy who told us that Higuain was better than every single arsenal player and it gave us material for days. We are so busy trolling each other we forgot what its like to be trolled by someone else. Welcome!
Remember when he told us that there was no way we would get DiMaria or Özil? Ahh Young Stars was an All-Star troller.
Jack doesnt score goals. You cant play a guy like that in the attacking field. Also, when we all started stroking our meats or flicking our beans over Jack, he was playing deeper.
So, thanks to Facebook I just learned that this new American fitness guru that the Gunners have poached from the Germans went to my alma mater! We're both Washington State Cougars! Nice to know a fellow Coug will be helping to keep the Gunners fit and on the field. His first assignment is Abou Diaby.... http://www.si.com/soccer/planet-fut...ks-shad-forsythe?cid=social_20140708_27487146
dang. i had high hopes for him until i saw this post. i wonder if his major was drinking or syphilis. Edit: Can you guess who my alma mater is?
Feels like it was just yesterday that we were talking about how Sanchez was a natural winger and that Remy was the likely CF stop gap... I'm already living in a matrix where Arsenal have bought Alexis, so I'm gonna be positive about Remy if true. That'll do, Arsene, That'll do.... Now get the fvck off the beach, buy a top class DM, quality depth at CB and GK, and obliterate the EPL for a generation or two. No big deal
Was that YoungStars? I don't remember that angle. This is off-topic but the World Cup aside, the US sports media seems fixated on NBA free agency. There's a hundred scenarios floating around, most of them involving LeBron James some not. But there's an angle I haven't heard that seems obvious to me: LeBron, Bosh and DWade were on max deals that they had the right to opt out of at the end of last season. They did opt out of those deals, and what's left is to see how much if any will any of them accept in less compensation to get complementary pieces and maximize their chances of winning the title. But DWade sux right now, barely worth a jersey number let alone a max contract. All of Miami's salary cap and player recruiting issues get a lot smaller right away if the Big Three become the BIg Two.
Fcuk youngstars and this clueless chilean twat. Utd are not even eufa cup level and juve couldnt get out the group Should villa sign him asthey won a cl? What a bell end
I hope we sign sanchez after all this. Imagine we low ball and miss out lol? Debuchy is not good enough imo and stats at shit teams mean very little
Wenger all but confirmed that Sanchez is signed. He would have never talked about it if not done. Actually, stats are of real value BigMan. I would even argue that having good stats while playing with the likes of Ameobi, Cisse or Taylor are even an accomplishment.
If u are a decent player u get better stats on shit teams because they rely on u. Sagna is superior in every way but crosssing and will be missed. Aurier has better physical tooks as well. I just dont rate him, hope he proves me wrong!
It works both ways. You may get more possession because your teammates rely on you. But when you pass the ball and your teammate doesn't have skill to fend off an opposing player or foresight to run into space then it's your stat that's negatively affected.
So how is he superior? Faster? Stronger? Better technical skills? Crossing is a pretty important aspect to a fullback.

I also thought that was an odd call. In fact, when I turned on the first French WC match, I was 10 mins late and did not know who started for France. I was surprised when I finally pieced the lineup together and noticed that Sagna was not the right back. I love Sagna as a player. He was always rated amongst the best RB's in the EPL - if not the best in some seasons. He always gave his best for Arsenal imo and I was shocked he was not playing. My point is that to make a claim that Sagna is better in every way (except crossing) is odd - especially when you had a 1 on 1 comparison being made by presumably knowledgeable football men and they thought Debuchy was the better player. If it were as clear as you make it seem, there is no chance that any rational person would put Debuchy ahead of Sagna. However, we have clear evidence that such is not the case. Perhaps the French staff is totally wrong. Perhaps.
Probably not. There's some research out there suggesting that crossing is a horrible tactic. Sagna is brilliant defensively. Not saying Debuchy isn't, but Sagna can defend an entire flank by himself, despite players who don't track back being in front of him.
If both Sanchez AND Remy join, I have to think that at least one player's going to be sold. (Cazorla?) I don't think there will be enough room, otherwise.
Lots of room. It's called DEPTH. Something we might finally have this season for the first time in god knows how many years. If we sell Cazorla then we might as well start talking about our next transfer thread already and how we're going to replace him!
