    Argentina - Netherlands (1 - 3 )

Argentina will score, but we meet a team which has to come and leave space for the Dutch at the back.
Hopefully v Persie gets his finishing under control.

That is possible but having seen how the teams style changed with the introduction of Biglia and Enzo Perez. Granted having Perez out there was like playing with a man down he still occupied space. With Ricky Alvarez likely starting in place of Di Maria it gives us a good attacking midfield player that is comfortable enough in the hole to allow Messi more freedom of movement on the pitch. I believe midfield is the only place we have a clear cut advantage, defense and keeper go to Holland and in attack us ever so slightly by virtue of having Messi.

Argentina 3-1 Holland. We'll hit for two early, give one up before the half and get the third ten minutes into the second half...at least that's what I'm hoping for.

Ron Vlaar is reported to have problems with his knee, probably not make it for the coming match vs Argentina.

I just hope arg wins so ASF can win the damn yahoo pick´em :D

Seriously though, I think it will be a rough match. Arg will probably seek ball control and whether it succeeds or not might be key to the result. I liked what Enzo showed against Belium, hopefully he´ll be another option in our attack, coming from behind. Robben is unstoppable atm so I´m sure Sabella will line 2 defensive midfielders again.
Another concern is Van Persie, he´ll seek vindication after his awful match against CR.
    Arg 2-1.

I'm ahead by six points, but in the semis they give eight points for the correct pick and eight point for the correct score, so it's a very tenuous lead.

    Argentina 2- netherlands 1

I havent been impressed with netherlands , mexico dominated them but they made the mistake of defending the whole second half , costa rica was close to defeating them in penalty shots

It comes down to who is going to replace di maria and if messi shows up in this game

Should be a fun and interesting game to watch. Let's hope we won't see any sore losers after the game. May the best team win!

I assume you mean she'll need a little private time to console herself after the match... don't worry, you'll both get over it. :D

Sadly yes, 3 times the bridesmaid, but we did manage to send home early the last time it mattered.

The Mexicans were better for 60 minutes, after that it was all Holland. Once Wesley smashed that ball into the back of the net to equalize the outcome was no longer in doubt.

It was? Without Robben's dive, the match would gone into xtra time, there's no way of telling who would have won.
