For future reference, it's spelled "McLeod". Unless you're making some kind of point. But thanks for your reasoning.

The first thing I look at is who has two games, which is tough this time because five teams do - that doesn't narrow it down much. I'll probably lean toward Seattle - because it's Seattle - and Washington, because they've got comparatively easy opponents, and I think they'll be smarting after last weekend's drubbing.

So reading the article on Equalizer, Hope Solo will be available for the match on Saturday. That might change my line up, have to think on it.

They say she is available but I don't know if she will play.
    1. It seem like she haven't practice much with the team this week.
    2. What is her mental state after all this? Is she in the right frame of mind?
    3. The team has to punish her somehow. They might say she is available for selection but that still does mean she will start.
    4. SBFC is a relatively easy opponent offense wise so the Reign can afford to give Kop another go while Hope get herself together

This is all true, although in terms of 'punishment' - I think they are not jumping the gun on that until situation is better clarified per their statement.... I did put Hope in my line up because she always has a chip on her shoulder and that has to be massive right now.... expecting that if she gets into games she will be on fire.

    My lineup for this week:

    GK- Williams-VC-WNY, McLeod*-HOU
    DEF- Taylor-WNY, Fletcher- SEA, Robinson-KC, Engen*-HOU
    MF- Lloyd*-WNY, Little-C-SEA, Losada-WNY, Nairn-WAS, Sanderson-BOS
    FW- Kerr-WNY, Morgan*-POR, McCarty-HOU, Taylor-WAS

I was originally going to pick Leroux instead of McCarty, but since an individual who usually jinxes Leroux when he picks her put her in his lineup this week, I'm staying away.

ETA: Originally had Kling as my reserve DEF, but she's out this weekend.

Pretty pleased with how week 12 worked out. No official scores in yet, but it definitely feels like my best week yet :D

On to the quick turnaround - Week 13!
    - Double games from PTFC and CRS this week.

    Goal: Angerer (Williams)
    Def: Fletcher/Reed, Wenino (Deines)
    Mid: Long/Boquette, Llyod, Challupny (Little)
Att: Press (vc), Morgan (c), Rapinoe (Sinclair)

What are people's thoughts on Rapinoe? Do you figure she'll start/go 90? Or sub in late again? She's just returning from her injury, but looked fit and ready to go for 90 IMO. Any seers on these boards?

Chris at All White Kit has his estimated points summarized for those of you who want a good guestimate of how you did:

Missed out on those Sky Blue double gamers (yes I had a couple in my starting line up).

Went out on a limb and captained Jodie Taylor, which paid off for the second time this season. If Chris's numbers are right, I got 75 points from her and 174 overall.

Wow, 75 points?! Good call on Taylor. She has been pretty beast-mode this season overall, and Washington's offence feels like a tidal wave when they get their groove on.

And according to those numbers, I think I made ~ 153 points, captaining Little. I will take that!

I captained Little as well. I think this was one of her lowest point totaling weeks all season. Also had Leroux starting, which didn't help. But I still got 126 according to Chris' numbers. So at least not my worst.

I came out okay- 107.5 according to Chris' numbers. The big winners were Lloyd and Vicky with 25 and 16.5. But I had 60 points on the bench with Taylor and Matheson

Did even better for Week 12 than I thought - 195 points total, good for 4th place for the week - 6 more points and I'd have gotten a prize. I'm now in 16th place for the season. Thank you, Captain Jodie!

(On the other hand, Week 14 isn't going too well. Unless my ladies come through tomorrow night, I'm probably going to drop.)

Well, for week 12 I ended up with 1 less point than for week 11. My 2nd highest total on the season. I guess that's decent. Up to 130th overall.

Unfortunately I forgot to set my lineup in time for week 13, so that'll probably be a trainwreck.

I have pretty much set my team and won't be changing it for the rest of the year. It's too much work at this point.

Well I missed 2 straight weeks of putting a team in so like Holden I messed up. The Friday matches really messed me up, kept thinking that is when I should be putting my teams in, but it was Thursday, and again this week, its a Thursday.

So I dropped from 27th over all to 37th with my gaffs. This week, I'll put a team in, but won't go too deep into discussion since I don't know how much damage my fantasy team has taken.

One of our own won Week 14, assuming it's the same @lunatica .

I did way better in Week 14 than I thought I would - 146 points, good enough for 19th for the week and enough to bump me up another few places to #8 for the season. Probably not going to last long, though, since I went in heavily on the Spirit for Week 15.

Ouch. You have my sympathy. And they still have Portland to contend with.

I am staying far away from the Spirit next week. Only one match against KC? That doesn't seem like a recipe for FL success. Also avoiding SkyBlue, since it's usually FL hara-kiri to pick them when they face WNY.

Yep, that was me:) My first time in Top 100 overall. Funny story: it was all by mistake because I meant to appoint different Taylor as my captain:laugh:

I try to be ruthless with my FL picks. I leaned heavily on the Spirit because they had two matches this week, and I thought Sky Blue would be a good matchup for them. Shows what I know. But I also went heavily on Portland, so that might save me.

You thought SkyBlue would be a good match for them? I was wary after the Spirit got a bit fortunate in the first match to get a draw.

Well been really sliding down the rankings because I didn't put 2 weeks worth of squads in for my fantasy team which was very costly. Kept thinking Friday was the day I need to put a line up in, when it got moved to Thursday. Down from 27th over all to 103rd now in the 2 weeks. This week was decent since I had Alex Morgan (2 goals. 2 assists), Christine Sinclair (3 goals), Jodie Taylor (2 goals), Stephanie Catley (2 assists), Vero Boquette and Diana Matheson also picked up 1 assist each and I had Morgan captained. So my ranking should improve, but I am pretty much out of it trying to push for the top.

    Friday, July 25
WNY Flash vs Boston Breakers - Fri 7:30pm

    Saturday, July 26
Chicago Red Stars vs Houston Dash - Sat 2:00pm

    Sunday, July 27
FC Kansas City vs Skyblue FC - Sun 6:00pm
Seattle Reign FC vs Portland Thorns FC - Sun 7:00pm

    Wednesday, July 30
Washington Spirit vs FC Kansas City - Wed 7:00pm
Houston Dash vs Seattle Reign FC - Wed 9:00pm

    Thursday, July 31
Skyblue FC vs WNY Flash - Thu 7:00pm

WNY Flash, FC Kansas City, Skyblue FC, Seattle Reign FC, and the Houston Dash all have double games this week.

    Best match ups:

=WNY Flash vs Boston Breakers: Decent chance for shut out and the Flash should be able to attack a weak Boston defense.
-FC Kansas City vs Skyblue FC: Kansas City should be able to control most of the possession and be able to attack the back line of Skyblue. Decent chance for shut out.
-Washington Spirit vs FC Kansas City: Kansas City should be favored and Jodie Taylor will be gone on national duty.
-Houston Dash vs Seattle Reign: Seattle should have a sizable edge.
-Skyblue FC vs WNY Flash: Despite Skyblue playing better lately, the Flash should be the stronger side. Should be, they can be so hit and miss sometimes.

    Best picks:

-Kansas City and Western New York have good shut out possibilities.
-Kansas City, Western New York, Seattle due to match ups versus weaker defenses and double games should be picked for offensive players.

    Other options:

-Chicago defenders. Only one game but solid chance to pick up a shut out against Houston.

Week 16 line up (bolded are starters) 3-4-3

Goal Keepers: Nicole Barnhart (FCKC-allocated), Kelsey Wys (WNYF)
Defenders: Leigh Ann Robinson (FCKC), Brittany Taylor (WNYF), Katherine Reynolds (WNYF), Julie Johnson (Chicago)
Midfielders: Kim Little (Seattle), Lauren Holiday (FCKC-allocated), Erika Tymrak (FCKC), Carli Lloyd (WNYF-allocated), Katy Freels (Skyblue)
Forwards: Sarah Hagen (FCKC), Samantha Kerr (WNYF), Beverly Goebel (Seattle), Naha Kawasumi (Seattle)

    Lauren Holiday (captain)

With Seattle, Kansas City and Western New York playing twice this week and most of them against soft defenses. Its pretty important to pick up players from these 3 squads. Barnhart leads the league in shut outs and should pick up 1 or maybe 2 this coming week. The Flash also with their schedule have a good chance to pick up some shut outs but really depends on the form they come into the match. They can be good or they can disappear in a match. They haven't exactly been consistent all year. But as a fantasy team owner, this week really stands out with the 3 power house clubs playing twice each and for the most part, playing against weaker defenses. Stacking players from these 3 clubs is a must.
