Beckerman cutting their counters. Risky but necessary.

Holy Moly - Beaz takes the ball beats 3 Germans and goes 60 yds up the wing. MB almost gets a shot.

    KB with smart foul.

Yedlin would be a great 2nd half sub. He'll smoke Howedes.

Green or Yedlin will have fun running at this defense in the 2nd half. We just need to survive until that point

I've only been watching a few minutes, but Germany hasn't looked sharp on our counterattacks.

He just made like a 50 yard run out of pressure. That was a perfectly fine play.

We need speed. Bad. Wouldn't mind him at RM if he can keep his head.

Seriously. I've been as anti-Beas as anyone over the last 12 months, but he just created a counterattack basically by himself.

25' 0-0, 0-0 Beasley runs past Boateng to 25m left touch, pulls up. Sees no cross, patiently waits ... backpass to Jones at circle top. Right to F.Johnson, flick to Bradley at box top mid-right -- shot blocked high and back. Germany almost break up wide left, but Beckerman bravely hacks Höwedes(?) down. No card!

27' 0-0, 0-0 Germany ping at midfield vs. the bunkertree ... Boateng blasts a switch/cross way too hard, through the long diagonal to box left foot and Podolski(?) sees no reason to speed up his jog.

Beckerman has been very composed. Lots of first time balls to relieve pressure.

Does Davis have any positional responsibility? He is all over the place
