    A) I've never said he's played great and have agreed that he's played poorly so NO, YOU HAVEN'T READ MY POSTS.
    B) Regardless how blame is apportioned is the whole point...so NO, YOU AREN'T CLEAR.

Go sleep it off mate, you'll feel better in the morning.

So Cameron shins a ball directly into the path of thankful Nani, and Bradley loses the ball in his opponents half. Yet Bradley is Agoos 02? WTF is going on

Not impressed by Cameron or Bradley. We'll most likely go through to the next round, but I'm expecting more from these two.

Bradley is playing uncharacteristically bad. Cameron had a howler. Omar Gonzalez is a piece of shit and needs to be benched forever. He was brought on to defend against the cross. What the hell was he doing in front of JJ?

    So am I.

I know both can play better. Cameron was a bit unlucky on the clearance but really, no excuses there. Not gonna go into the marking on the last goal.

Both Bradley and Cameron were among the players I thought we had to worry about the least for this tournament. Meanwhile, Jones is playing like a god among men. If we advance, pray he doesn't get that second yellow.

God knows what's happened to Bradley's play and mentality in the heat down there.

Omar was put in to prevent a repeat of the U 23 Olympic qualifying disaster -- deny the long range shot. He was not there as a third CB ...... If Bradley just hoofs the ball into the second deck we are not having this conversation

Just watched the replay. Bradley really blew it in losing possession. Cameron caught ball watching as well. I just don't think Bradley is as good as we hoped or have built him up to be. If he were really that good he would have stayed and been playing at Roma. Aside from Dempsey, Jones, Johnson, and Howard we don't really have the people to compete against top sides. But overall I think we have done well so far considering our groups.

It wasn't so much the giveaway at midfield (tho that was pathetic given the circumstances), he was walking the last 20min of the game. JK should have subbed him at the 70min mark, or earlier. Huge liability.

Play him for 45 against the Germans then sit his walking ass for the other 45.

We haven't seen Bradley play CAM well against competition as good/better than Ghana.

Watching it again, I think it was less Bradley not booting it to the moon than that he had a horrible first touch. Had he settled, we'd be talking about how to avoid Belgium right now.

Still, I don't get how Portugal went 50 yards and why one guy is running free in the box at that stage.

All that said, Bradley's miss from five yards was inexcusable.

I didn't think he was that great even outside of the cement touch and the missed goal. Better than the Ghana game, yeah, but not where we need "the best American field player" to be at this level of play.

    This.

Listen I am a big MB fan. He was much better than he was against Ghana. Against Ghana he was absolutely worthless. Against Portugal he was decent most of the game and and 2 massive mistakes (missed give-me goal and once again not properly killing out a game). Did other players have massive mistakes. Absolutely.
Like others have said...if MB turns this around and JJ keeps playing out of his mind then we actually could go pretty far.

Well, I haven't read the whole thread but I agree with anybody who said Bradley should be played deeper (in lieu of Beckerman) and Diskerud should be played in what has, over the last few matches, been Bradley's role.

I love the way Beckerman protects the back four but he slows us down when we are in possession. If we are playing five midfielders, I think it should be Bradley and Jones playing deep. Bradely has always done well coming deep to get the ball from the back line and distributing. Admittedly I haven't seen a lot of him at club level, but for USMNT, that is the sauce that he adds for us. He just doesn't look comfortable higher up the pitch.

I look forward to your angry responses BS Forums.

MB played better last night than against Ghana. He has a 82% pass completion rate and has covered more distance during the course of the game than EVERYONE EXCEPT ONE PLAYER IN THE WORLD CUP so far.

Yes I was frustrated when he lost possession in the middle of the field at the end but it was team play that lead to the goals scored and goals conceded last night.

Maybe we should have subbed Mix for Bradley at the end instead of Omar. That sub didn't pay off.

Clearly Bradley's fault for not demanding to be subbed off

It was crappy play all around on that goal. Horrible touch by Bradley is why he lost the ball in a bad position. But then we have way to many players leaning forward in the closing seconds of an important game, with the lead. Then, no center back cut out that cross or marked up when Portugal only had one striker in the box. So lots of blame to go around. But yeah, Bradley traps a ball and we win the game. And that miss earlier was pretty bad as well. He did play better than against Ghana mostly, but it's the key moments that always count in soccer and he flubbed it in those two.
