Spain qualified for all tournaments not like us we were absent from 1966-1984 and again from 1986-1996, only. Since then have we been regular participants with the notable exception of 1998 wc I hope portugal can at least keep qualifying regularly, and when we get a better generation , another golden gen we can contend again and the past experience will help them. Believe more they can go all the way . A lot of times Brazil Germany and Italy win becsuse of their mentality . They know they have won before and can do so again. They have a mental advantage over many teams
