They have such a porous midfield, watching them trying to make crosses was comical. They just can't. We should win against Ghana very easily while conceding no goals against. The problem is the USA, not because of their offense, but because of how much they remind me of Greece. And guess what? Those are the teams we have problems against. Teams that notoriously park the bus.

our best hope is to play Anti-Football

we need to sit back, use william to shield our defense and attempt to troll a string of 1-0 wins.

Germany is going to start all of their subs and play not to get hurt. USA will be playing for their lives.

I am actually laughing at our team

    it was so funny

I seriously think we have the most douche bag NT ever,

    think about it

    this
Ronaldo doing the west side thing (still luv him <33)
    Pepe

    our tendency to MELT DOWN
even Josue flippping off Sweden when Ronaldo scored

We always surround the ref !!

    its never our fault

    2002
    1986 - Saltillo...

    losing at home to Greece

    the battle of nurenburg

seriously... Portugal is the ********ing SHOW man... I swear... football would be so mundane without us...

we are the MASTER TROLLS of international football.

Who should be our next coach?

I like Villas Boas but hes way too young cant see him taking the job

Methinks the next coach of Portugal will be Jesualdo Ferreira, or possibly Domingos Paciencia.

Bring back Scolari. or Beg Mourinho to do double duty. Hiddink was allowed to coach Russia while he coached Chelsea.

We just need a liberal coach. Need more progressiveness. I like Bento as an individual but as a coach he drives alot of people crazy with his ignorance of common sense.

Mourinho will wait for the next generation. He even said he'll coach Portugal when he's old. AVB would be an interesting coach, he is a good coach. As for Bento, very frustrating to see his tactics. He is a little stubborn.

So much talent and nothing go show for on the grand stage. Crazy. I really feel, just like Spain, our TIME will come.

2004 was our best chance. No doubt. I will never forgive Scolari for bidding tactics. Greece beat us TWICE. Shameful.

Spain qualified for all tournaments not like us we were absent from 1966-1984 and again from 1986-1996, only. Since then have we been regular participants with the notable exception of 1998 wc

I hope portugal can at least keep qualifying regularly, and when we get a better generation , another golden gen we can contend again and the past experience will help them. Believe more they can go all the way .

A lot of times Brazil Germany and Italy win becsuse of their mentality . They know they have won before and can do so again. They have a mental advantage over many teams

It would be nice to beat the US by 3 goals and get GD back. Then we don't have to worry about a draw-draw situation knocking us out.

That USA team looks over worked last night looked like half that team was injured

Besler pulled out but is expected to be back

Altidore is done with an injury

I wouldn't say this team play like Greece more like Bosnia

Their subs still shit all over the USA, not one of the US players would make the German squad and that my being over dramatic

Look at germanies record in most qualifying campaigns
