I have a friend that purchased tickets to 3 matches using 2 different accounts cause he wanted 4 tickets to each match and was only able to bag 2 tickets each time. He made 6 purchases in total and FIFA has cancelled everything! He only found out when he tried to pick up his tickets in Rio the other day. According to the T&C you can only have 1 account per household and can only make 1 purchase per match. He was going by the fact he only bought tickets for 3 matches and did not exceed the 4 tickets per match rule. FIFA is giving him refund less 30%. BE WARNED!!! Wondering if there are any other nightmares out there?
i think if it shows that anywhere then in the resaleportal where the status of the tickets are listed eg printed or up for resale but sure maybe it doesn't show their either https://ticketresale.fifa.com/en/MyTickets/List did your friend check that? i am really sorry for your friend :/ do you think you can purchase any tickets of those he had (or are you at your limit or are they rare ones or smth)
Wow, now I am scared. My wife and I each opened and account, and used our own unique passports. I checked today and both are active and scheduled for pick up. Hopefully the separate passports and separate pick ups will not generate a similar result. Would ruin half of our trip that we already paid for in full.
You are right! I have a problem with the total number of tickets because I purchased 7 games in my regular account and have conditionals in the PMA account and didn´t know if FIFA would figure it out. Checked your link using my PMA account and it says I already have my tickets printed from the regular account. I´m sure they will cancel my PMA tickets if Brazil goes to semifinals.
So this was before any ticket pickup? I suppose if the ticket is already in hands we don't have any risk. Right?
Hi account info is normal. Doesn't show any cancellations or anything. Says tickets are ready for collection. LOL
I sold a ticket and as a result wasn't accepted by machine and had to queue. Cost me an hour of my time today. No issues and have ticket. Obviously some thing in the system not allowing machine use for changes
Jim, When are you picking up? Can you please report what happens. I'm starting to crap bricks too since I got tix in a regular account in my name and both my wife and I got tix through separate PMA accounts.
f***k, I'm pretty scared too. I bought tickets with my home address and my information. When I created the dummy account, I used my name but instead of my home address I used my business address and inputted different birthdays and passport numbers, all fake of course! I hope my card works without any issues, because what do I say if I'm directed to the kiosk and the birthday and passport numbers don't match????
Some scary stuff over here. I used 3 accounts, each with different and real name, birthday and passport, and used 3 different credit cards that carry the name of the main applicant. I bought tickets for 16 matches altogether, 3 for each, with the two guests being the names and passports of the other two accounts (We are a company of 3). I believed that would be good enough, but these reports really make me fear for all the money already invested in this trip. Flying today, landing tomorrow in Salvador - hope all works smoothly.
I'm afraid so. If there's a problem I'll tell them it's a big apartments house which we all happen to live in (and coincidentally share the same family name). I just hope it isn't already cancelled, so there's no room for negotiation.
