Sorry to hear :( i know that fifa stated stolen tickets won't be reprinted and I doubt they make exceptions but I hope they will anyways since it happened befor. you could get in contact with the tickets to begin with. sending you all the good spirits :/

Did you get any response when you asked what happens when tickets are undelivered? I had the same problem calling dhl twice from sydney, they said they couldn't let me know a tracking number and to contact match, who said that tracking numbers will be sent via email the next 2 weeks but didn't know anything besides that. All seems like a bit of a mess really.

I can comment on the "undelivery" issue in another post. However, if it helps those of you leaving soon and desperately trying to get tracking info, when I just called FIFA number tonight and kept insisting that even if no tracking no. was there any way they could check if tickets had actually been despatched they finally took my account number/ticket application number and advised that while there was no tracking number (catch 22 moment when she said DHL puts this on the ticket account) the system showed tickets had in fact been despatched. Whether this was just to get me off the phone remains to be seen but she did acknowledge that tracking numbers might only appear on the system at the same time as delivery!

They have said they won't re-issue tickets. It was a huge problem in Germany. Loads of people (incl me) bought useless tickets that had been re-issued. Now in this case they should make an exception but it will need to be pushed hard. DHL should be able to verify where the theft happened.

Now you also have the right to claim a full refund on your credit card as you have not received what you paid for. I know this is not what you want or ideal but it will be some consolation if FIFA don't re-issue.

The person who stole them will most likely be trying to sell them via ebay or a private adverts site. Might be worth keeping an eye out for somebody selling tickets that match yours.

DHL should be able to narrow down the theft too. They may not share all the details with you and they are hardly the only tickets the person has taken.

Wow that is a nightmare scenario with the tickets being stolen. I mean my worst case scenario is that I leave and I get someone to courier them to a DHL office wherever I am in my travel plans. Hopefully they can sort something out for you man.

Back to FIFA, the thing I don't understand is that I got the "you're tickets have been printed" email on May 2, it's now May 16 and I've heard nothing, no tracking or anything.

My latest theory is that mine are the last to go because my surname begins with "Y" haha

Called FIFA today. They simply asked for my Name and Address info, and could immediately tell me that there was no tracking number from DHL listed for me. It seems that they have a list of current tracking information from DHL in front of them. Later in the call, they asked me for my request number so that they could look up my account information and verify the address, phone number, etc. was correct.

Also, the call center told me that ALL tickets are with DHL already, and it is simply DHL who are sending them out in batches.

@uuaww - surely you are an exception to the FIFA rule of not having tickets reprinted - there can be no foul play here, tickets were gone before they got to you, someone has to take the blame, either FIFA or DHL. It still makes me sick this has happened.

im just afraid that if DHL does, they will just give me a refund... I want my tix.

OK so here is the route... Italy-London-LA-San Francisco-Buffalo.

new tracking from San Francisco to Buffalo with a lighter envelope. Now the only tiny ray of hope I have right now is last night the original tracking number went back to LA (wtf?) and says package on hold. DHL has an open investigation.... hoping someone screwed up and put the new address on a blank envelope (unlikely because the original address was underneath the new one on the tampered envelope...) but I have nothing else to hope for right now... so here I am.

Also just received my tracking number by text. Rang up to ask if they could deliver to my address (as opposed to my parents). Unsurprisingly they couldn't. They said the tickets should be delivered on Monday though.

for people whose local DHL won't give out any info: you can chat online with a rep on the DHL website. They might be more willing to give info.

I submitted my inquiry to DHL through email and got a response within 12 hours that there are no packages under my name and zipcode in their system with a ship date between Apr 15 and May 15. I'll try my luck with FIFA to see if I can track down my tickets. Still waiting in Massachusetts....

Has anybody in Florida received tickets obtained during the random draws? I'm wondering if only team specific tickets are currently being delivered (my friend just got his for team USA).

DHL called me back, still lost, chances aren't good I will get tickets. Called FIFA and they told me to write to them via email as well as file a police report. The fact they want a police report makes me hopeful as it says they may have some sort of protocol for this...

I contacted FIFA asking about ticket delivery and got the following response which at least tells me they haven't forgotten about me:

    Dear Jimbo,

    Thank you for your email.

Please note that the delivery process has started and your tickets will be with you shortly.

    Regards,

FIFA call center is a piece of s**t
DHL call center is the best.

I guess all of us who hasn't received the tickets yet are a lil concerned now. I am wondering which method they are using for the tickets to he shipped. I guess the easiest one wouldbe alphabetical order.

I propose to all of you to reply this post with the first letter of your last name and if you got the tickets or not to see if it makes sense....thanks guys.

    I'm T - New York - still waiting...

I received my DHL package last night. Bought Ecuador TST3 in the first round lottery and other tickets in the second round First Come First serve. Got in contact with DHL Monday and they gave me a tracking number, missed my pick up on Wednesday but my girlfriend received my package Thursday afternoon. Today I finally receive the tracking number from FIFA (kind of late)

    From NYC
