Since he joined the first team he hasn't picked up any major injuries that I can remember. Just small knocks here and there.

Giroud has been struggling at Arsenal lately. Gomis has just hit his 100th goal in Ligue 1. Lacazette continues to be dangerous. Who will play a role in the WC besides Benz?

Even if Giroud doen't score any goal until DD announces his list, he'll still make the squad imo

If this is the place for general World Cup discussion: whoever Deschamps selects to play right back for the first game will have to watch the following video closely.

Honduran forward Carlos Costly tries it pretty much every game: he'll go 1-on-1 against the opposing right back, slow down to walking pace, then pull this trick. Everyone sees it coming...and yet it works every time.

This post is pretty futile tbh... If you know its coming and it works everytime, then this literally provides no help lol.

    You sir, are coco santi.

Hey guys... I've created this site for WC fan gear. I'll be adding more products daily between now and the WC opening.

    Check it out:

I'm a Gunners fan so I like my Frenchies... but seriously... Giroud.... :p
Hopefully they top the group as I have ticks to Rd of 16 in Brasilia.

Lovely step-over. He makes believe a heel pass while his planted foot makes it difficult for the defender to get a clear view of the ball. Thanks for sharing.

I think Benzema is the biggest key to France's chances. If he's on a tear, he could really elevate this team. Ribery is also an important figure and should be a major driving force. The favourable group draw doesn't hurt either and that will give the players a proper chance to get into the right gear. That said, I think this France side doesn't have enough all-around experience to win it all or for that matter make a deep run, as evidenced by the home loss to Spain and the first leg loss to Ukraine.

I would be surprised if France make it further than quarter-finals, but I do expect them to return to favourites status for the 2016 Euros.

Yeah Lacazette slowed down a bit towards the end of the season but so did Giroud. No one really stands out except for Benzema so it's really down to who DD sees complimenting the group best although I can't see Griezman not being included.

Gameiro had a great game today, set up 2 and scored one in a 4-0 win. He's a very underrated player.

I think it's almost pretty much official that Nasri won't make the team, too bad..
