True, can't believe we didn't beat United this season. They've been a heaping pile of shit.

It's stating the obvious but we only have ourselves to blame for not winning the league.

Thing is we tend to bounce back always after a string of shitty results. This is why we finished top four last season and the season before that. Selective bollocks? maybe..

Well let's hope we don't get complacent with the last 3 games then.

    "Big plans to spend big..."

Hold on, let me give a ********.

I don't care about plans at all, go out there and spend some money, get these deals arranged with clubs before the World Cup is over, get the players' signatures by the end of July. GET ON IT ARSENAL.

I hate the transfer deadline day bullshit that we go through every year. If we can land 3 first XI quality players early in the transfer window, we can win the title next season even with Wenger in charge.

    Yes, I know that's asking a lot.

Apparently Monaco is offering £12.4million a year, after tax, to take Wenger over at the end of the season, just after reports came out that he is going to stay next season.

So the elite players come back and Arsenal start winning again.

Once more, injuries wreck the season

How and why does Ramsey miss half the season with a minor knock?

That's exactly the issue. No real depth plus many injuries equals another frustrating season. Hopefully, everyone can stay healthy for the FA cup final.

I don't like the injuries excuse. The correct answer is to have sufficient depth and to rotate players so that the risks of injury from overplaying are reduced.

Right. And that is the point for Mr Wenger-if you know what is happening-and it has happened before-you're the guy who can do something about it. So often, he says the words but doesn't seem to make the connection that action needs to be taken.

He had opportunity to at least try to rectify. Three windows have passed and our striker situation has not been addressed. Theo has a long term injury and nothing was accomplished in the winter. etc etc. bahhhh

Honestly, one of the most frustrating things for me as a fan of Arsenal are the statements Wenger makes to the media. His words are meant to communicate very little actual information. He's actually very calculated in this regard and the complete opposite of Mourinho. Wenger has zero accountability to the media and fans, therefore he feeds us only what is required to fulfill his obligations at press conferences and other media engagements. Nothing more.

He knows exactly what it means when he says injuries were the reason we are not competing for the title. He can connect the dots. And he knows that others can too. He's just not inclined to do so in the media, because he doesn't have to. He's not spelling it out for the fans either, because (quite frankly) half of Arsenal fans will accept his statement at face value. The rest, he doesn't feel he owes any further explanation.

He's accountable to Kroenke and the board. That's it. Unfortunately, none of us are privy to their opinions about the matter, which leads to all the frustration about the statements Wenger makes, and we go round and round and round.

I have no doubt the board can connect the dots. But their interests in the club--and how / whether to address the issue--are not necessarily in line with fan sentiment.

The fans have a very easy way to fix this. They choose not to.

Well fans should support the club rain or shine. Or in our case overcast.

Maybe stop buying merch? Ok. But stop following the club? No.
