    Oh Cheech. :(

Would have been a lovely way to wrap up a seriously refreshing second half.

It felt good to see Manchester United at Old Trafford for the first time in a year.

Kind of awesome seeing Giggs, Scoles, Butt and Neville walking along the touchline there having been watching them since their teens.

The players were always going to be up for this match (they clearly hated Moyes)....I'll be interested to see if they can continue to play with this better tempo\pressing\confidence in the remaining fixtures...when the eyes of the football world are not on them...and the games are meaningless.

That game / result was for all the journos and commentators who said our squad was why we were where we were not the manager.

Giggs pretty much stuck by the Fergie blueprint, which given the prep time was understandable. Plus it works by and large at turning over the teams lower in the league. Shame we likely won't get to see Giggs manage us against a top team to see how he would change things for that.

And there will still be people that defend Moyes. Today I feel at ease. Like this crap with Moyes has now made the club realize what we need. But there is still that part of me that is angry that we wasted a year in the CL having to learn that.

Given the absolute rubbish we had to go through with skeleton-face, it's about ********ing time an OT game felt like an OT game. Feels like the start of a new season already.
