If you say so. I saw a team on the verge of creating goals in the first half. What I saw in the second half should be in the dictionary under the term "uninspired".
Bayern's last month of performances have saddened me. The players have stopped having fun and the coach is trying to manage his way to a triple and the players are not buying it. Guardiola is clearly way overrated as a coach. What good coach in his right mind would play their backline on the halfway line against a team that has Bale and Ronaldo? What good coach would let a team step off the pedal at the most crucial part of the season, all in the name of focusing on the UCL yet the team, instead of being a rested, focused and performing at a higher gear, they appear as if they had just returned from holidays. and where are the match-deciding tactics that will tilt the match-up in our favor? The players are just doing their regular things. I was excited by the Guardiola appointment, even though I was also skeptical about how much he could do in an atmosphere like Bayern's. Guardiola was brought in to improve the attack. I expected under his direction the passing would be more incisive, the runs would be more unpredictable and sharper, and the whole attack would be more intuitive and run at higher tempo. But this ,for the most part, has not happened, the possession stats may be a little higher and the backwards passing is definitely less, but the attack is still based on the individual playmaking abilities of players rather as the byproduct of an effective passing/attacking scheme. Also, Pep doesn't seem to inspire a lot of passion and spirit in his players and seems to be overburdening the players with tactical details which may be why the players seem to have a hard time getting into a higher gear. The Madrid team has the making a champion, it's defensive yet it's attack is unfathomable lethal. With both Ronaldo and Bale, the threat to our backline will not double but triple. The only way Bayern can overturn the deficit and the lack of away goal is by not playing Pep ball, but play with the fierce drive and intensity the showed in last year's home leg against Barca, or the way Atletic Madrid and Dortmund did against Madrid this year. This is the only way Bayern can defeat Real, not with perfect champaigne and orchestra Pep ball, but with fierce Bavaria heat the way only metalheads from Germany can produce. I wish for the best, but I'm not holding my breath.
Take it easy guys its only 1-0 this is not over by any chance. Any chance Dortmund can lend us Jojic and Kirch? They made them $hit their pants alright
Let's fire pep, he's clearly ruining bayern.. We need to play like we did vs barca last year.. Because that seems to be the cry from every neutral fan and a minority of bayern fans aswell.. Because you know that's how bayern played every single game for every single occasion last season.. People love to use the barca series as any indication of how we should play this year and how pep is ruining us. Has anyone watched ALL the games this year and last year?????
Its all Dortmund's fault you know. Had they kicked Real's ass we'd be having a real football spectacle instead of playing those bus parking putas
Can't you see? Country Portugal, Ronaldo avatar, clearly just another one of those million Real bandwagon fans
You guys are complaining?!?!?!?! This Effin beauty over here brought my rep to post ratio up to 0.8 Keep it up
It does not matter who you have up front when you have no service. Pep got the tactics all wrong. Will see if he gets it right in the return leg.
PM Someone, I'd like more reps too. I wasn't getting reps over on your forum and that has killed my post to rep ratio. Luckily you brought it back up to old level.
I was going to cash them out to buy myself a bus, that way I know where to watch my Chelsea-Atlético games
It looks like he never completely recovered from the injury he had or it might that he lost the balon bulllcrap and sad about it
I'll take my chances. I want guardiola to do all he can to get this club firing on all cylinders like the side that dominated at the etihad and earliq this season. The best way to do that would be to get the team in rhythm again. Not going to do that playing pizzaro, hojberg, van buyten, sallahi and weiser. They need to get back to that team that was pummeling opponents 3-0, 4-1, 5-1 etc. Not that they'll hang 4 on madrid but to have any f#cking chance of going through they need to play together and get in rhythm...I say damn the f#cking torpedoes and go balls to the wall on the weekend and feel good about yourself going into the second leg. Isn't that better than scraping by vs bremen with a reserve side via an 84' pizzaro header? This season has been incredible and I would hate to see it end because the manager f#cked with a good thing....
I dunno whether it was fear of yellow cards/suspensions, too much self confidence or too much respect to the opponent but Bayern did not fight. It played like a team with 1 foot in the Final.
