He was in Belgium which I would think is a better league than Ukrain at this time, you know with Russia pulling their tanks up to the stadium. I like the way this guy plays, too bad he never really got a chance in the national team, he may be too old for the next qualifyers.

From what I saw at the NT level--he lacks teh true composure to do moer.

He has the ability, but at times looked a little too shakey/inconsistent when he did play. He's just a big bowl of OK.

Vicente Arze coyld play in the MLS and be a top player imo. But like said before me, he does have mental lapses but he is good on the ball

He had his chance--he was drafted by KC but decided to bypass to go play for Vancouver then in the second division of US socccer.

I am sure he'd be decent though.

I wonder if a team in MLS or mexico will take a flyer on him. That's the logical next step in Concacaf

I give him props for scoring as many goals as he has so far, but none of them were spectacular or had individual effort. Very important if you wanna go to the next level

He was brought in to score gols, don't matter how like chicharo, so long as he puts them in the back of the net. And so far he's been doing that well.

He's the equivalent to Wondolowski in MLS.

I think he'd be a great poacher in Mexico. He's a little older, but really--his gifts aren't physical.....

With that said, I know this isn't the right place...but I hope FBF is looking to nationalize Callejon. That guy is a serious talent and he will never have a chance at playing for Spain. I have to wonder if he will fall in love with Conmebol with the attention he's getting as a star in the libertadores. He's onl 27 and still has a lot left in the tank.

He cuold be our next Escobar (which was the shit before he decided to retire from the NT).

I actually think that is a GREAT idea! Lets start a Facebook group to convince him to nationalize and lets start a petition!

I don't see that happening, he's only been in Bolivia for 1 year, he's contract is until the end of this year. which would total a 1 1/2 years, not enough to be nationalize. And there is no way in hell he's staying with Bolivar with the attention he's been getting in Copa Libertadores. In fact I think Bolivar would look to make some money off him and sell him this summer while he's still under contract.

I agree with you but if Bolivar is still in the Copa after the summer/world cup, I think Marcelo won't let that happen unless they are able to sign someone with at least the same talent as him.

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if Claure offers him MORE so he signs a longer contract...and with a bigger break in contract fee.

I think we don't let this guy get away--Claure has teh money, as will our federation. Unlike Lizio, he's not captied to Spain.

I hope so. Besides, since Claure sold a huge portion of Brightstar (70%ish from what I heard), I think sooner or later he will be retiring and focusing on his passion (soccer). I mean, I know I would do that...

He's a business man first--he will find ways to continue growing his money.

But yes--the guy loves soccer. I hope he can keep the spainards around. I'd be happy. Capdevila is another gem but will be easier to keep around because he's older, but still has a ton of pace and speed.

Screw that. If he was playing so well, why didn't they start him in their matches in the libertadores; he wasn't even on the bench.

The fact that he is playing so well is why it's important for him to play with the NT.

Bejarano, Veizaga and Chumacero could be leaving The Strongest for this coming season. There are many different version in different newspapers and tv. but the one the agree on is Chumacero to Mexico. Veizaga seems to be getting attention from Greece and Iran. And Bejarano from Argentina (Arsenal, Colon, Huracan) and Greece.

If it works out is great news for our NT, also I wouldn't mind The Strongest losing some key players! :D

Also Ricardo Pedriel Signed with Mersin Idmayurdu SK from Turkey. The team just got back to first division for the 2014-2015 season.

Good finds man. I did hear about Edivaldo, but this is the first I hear about Pedriel and Pinedo. I'm specially glad for Pinedo, he has been through a great deal. Being in Spain and then in Guabira.
About the Strongest players I found this article, it doesn't mention Chuma and it says they're both going to Greece. I guess soon we'll see what the truth is.

    Good work!

I hope Veizaga goes to Greece--better football with higher upside. Nacho Garcia's connections probably still working.

Chuma to mexico would be good. His work rate could pay off really well there. He reminds me of Andres Chitiva who kicked ass in mexico cause of a similar work rate.

Bejarano in Argentina seems like a good fit. All 3 clubs are in the first divison. Good stuff!
Happy for Pedriel--he's giong to go back to kicking ass in Turkey. Bolivar are making a mistake in not making more use of him.

Edivaldo too, isn't that old and if he finds good form in Portugal again can always be a good option. Pinedo reviving his career abroad is nice.

Is it just me or do you also find it funny that in this day and age, we still have most of our players (both young and passed their due) playing in leagues where we, if we wanted to, still have to search online for a site that would stream their games live . . . hopefully? I remember back in the day when I use to follow a Boavista forum (I think on Netscape) that would update weekly on the games they played and the blogger was pretty detailed so that was cool because I got to hear (well read) about the great champion run that Platini gave to that team. Nowadays, you can easily watch a Portugal league game online or on TV if you get the package. But our players are now going to "farther" leagues that still don't have that type of worldwide access. I feel that if this trend continues, by the time all the leagues in the world have on-demand access for any viewing device (tv, tablet, smartphone, etc.), our players will be dealt to leagues that will be created on the moon and we'll have to once again get news from delayed newsfeeds/transmissions. Or maybe it's just me. hahaha

That being said, I'm glad my pops was able to watch la selección on HD or Bolivar on HD so there has been improvements; it's just that the bolivian players need to be playing in the greatest level of competition.
