All over, best to put this one behind them and focus on Thursday's game against Lyon.

His starting striker pairing was pretty bad too

In fairness they did play a bit better after the subs. Vucinic did more in his minutes than Osvaldo. Isla gets himself in good positions, but man his final ball is so wasteful at times. Vucinic put him in alone behind the line twice and Isla misplayed the pass both times. Marchisio also played well.

I just don't understand what Conte was thinking not starting one of Vuccy/Giovinco with Osvaldo/Llorente (I'm not sure where I'd place Quags). I have not seen two big-men used in a game together in a long time. 1 SS 1 CF please and thank you...

That 2nd goal pissed me off. Wtf was lich thinking not closing in on mertens?? Marchisio had to come all the way back to help and lich is just sitting there waiting for him to shoot.

Absolute shit game. Conte will try the long balls to nowhere until we are behind then he decides to play it on the ground when its too late. I dont care who we buy in the summer. With these lame predictable tactics were not gonna do shit in CL

Remember as poorly as they played, it's only one game in a stadium where not only Serie A teams have difficulty but Bayern, City, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Dortmund all failed to win there recently (Bayern were the only ones to manage a draw).

Juve needed their A game to even have a chance to win in Naples. They just so happened to play their worst game of the year.

Bigger picture what is more concerning is that Juve hasn't been nearly as dominant in these games as they were a month ago. They were bound to lose one of these matches. They look like a group of players that have played too many games in a short period of time.

They ARE a group of players that have played too many games in a short time. They have looked jaded for over a month and its only gonna get worse considering we still have a bunch of games to play

Benitez and Conte were going at it last night on the domenica sportiva last night. Conte kept saying how Napoli spent a $100 million on players while Juventus only spent $23 mil.

I don't really understand financials although I know money buys championships. To me though, it seems that a top team doesn't really have to spend too much on players if they are already successful. I mean if they already had a winning club without going out to spend money, why fix it?

We cant handle crosses to well so his hope was that one of the two would get behind a cross and head the ball in.

conte is getting annoying with his excuses. what does spending have to do with the way you play the game? we have some great players that are WORTH a lot of money...we have been lucky and smart not to pay an arm and a leg for them but its as if we bought vidal, pogba, marchisio, chiellini, barzagli, buffon for 20+ mil each....so to use that as an excuse is really lame.

truth is and i keep saying it...is that conte has become a one trick pony. his game plan is way too predictable and he keep launching long balls hoping the other team makes a defensive mistake. this is not how a top team plays. i thought this was evident in the bayern series last year but im soooo disappointed to see we havent changed. sure we can manage to beat teams in serie A but we fail against the good teams. yes once in a while we have good games vs. napoli, roma or milan...but overall we are not playing like a dangerous european contender. certainly not with hail mary long balls from bonucci and caceres hoping magically llorente heads it to tevez for a shot on goal.

Benitez counter was yeah they may have got them for nothing but those same players also command higher salaries. Anyway, I think UEFA/FIFA , FIGC or whomever should instill salary caps and it would help clubs revert back to developing more domestic players. Not sure if can be done legally or not but sooner or later, I think its necessary for clubs to stay afloat and/or try and make profits.

Next year is gonna be one of disappointment for Juve fans. There are way too many holes to fix in one mercato

Conte will say "we're only focused on the Coppa and getting a Silver Star" when we come in 5th and instantly drop out of the CL again. But to be fair then the year after we can have an all black kit and put stars everywhere on it. On another note, our players all look like they have died. Looking into their eyes is like staring into a black hole.

I just read on bleacher report that Juve are going to get indicted for match fixing. Hope this is BS.
