And anyway, Gomez doesn't have 90 minutes in him yet.

No. I have no idea. No explanation. I'm sure it was a fitness issue but 75% of Gomez is better than 100% of Matri.

yeah man too much defending less attacking…cuadrado should have been up the pitch creating danger. After that goal fiorentina was defending too much.

I'm at work and didn't watch but I gotta think that Pek coming up lame really hurt our attack. With Mati injured we had to bring in Ambrosini.

So where was Tomovic playing? A guy on Twitter said we started 4-3-1-2 with Valero in the hole. If that's the case, I assume Cuadrado was a right mezz'ala.

Matri started Sunday so that Gomez could start today...

Damn after the double yellow and the freekick we were standing KO. Even me! Juve smelled our weakness and let us run run run. This is a focking desaster. The subsitutions made no sense. we should go all-in and risk everything we have.

I really don't see the problems with our subs. The only thing I would've done differently was brought in Ryder, rather than Matri, for Gomez as Juve still had to get a goal at that point and Ryder is quicker for counter-attacking. I think Montella did fine.

wasn't to be. was the toughest draw we could've got in all honesty, good effort though.

still 4th in the league with a coppa italia final - all done on a shoestring budget!

MCL strain for Gomez. out 15-30 days. If any of you would like to revisit why he wasn't playing a full 90, I'm game. ;)
