Bit of a letdown after the opening game but a wins a win

Tally 8 made some important saves to keep a clean sheet

Kofe 6 ho hum type of game
Horst 8 early player of the year candidate strong and composed under pressure massive upgrade over Boswell
JT 7 solid and led the line well
Ashe 6 not good but not bad either

Davis 6 not the Davis of old
Boniek 7 works his socks off with a touch of class
    Rico 7 as above
Driver 6 average night for drives

Bruin 7 got the winner no much other than that
Barnes 6 not his best night

Ownby 5 non factor when he came on
    Carracco 5 as above
Sherrod don't know in 3 mins

What is worrying is our bench without creavelle and casico is lightweight huge drop off in class from what I can see so far

It looks like you spent abut 30 seconds writing this post. Not much insight here.

Get the fuk outta here. This man was a beast out there. Not inky the goal line save that saved us two points, but theplay where he got the yellow was on the left side of the D, and many other plays he made all night.

I don't know about the other rankings, I stopped reading after I saw Kofe's (sic).

If you rate just that one play he would be a 10 but wasteful going forward tonight and was not compact enough at the back for me

How do you rate him then above Horst or Tally?

I would rate him an 8. Which looking at your rankings would be even with Horst and Tally.

Tally 7.5 good saves which made a big difference in the game. Good on the crosses into the box. 'Master and Commander'

Taylor 6 OK but some bad passes that ledto Montreal chances in our box

Horst 6.5 Great in the air upgrade over Bos but same as Taylor on the passes

Kofe 7.5 good work defensively and timely save on the line again

Ashe 7.5 good work defnesively and help unbalance defense w overalps in their third

Davis 6.5 some decent free kicks, tracked back well to help defense, creative passing and movemnet

Boniek 7 works his socks off with a touch of class rough first half great second haf.
    Rico 6 as above

Driver 6 better performance by him defensively and OK offensively -a better shot would have scored but Perkins made a good sav on him non the less. I think he is actually better on the right because he is too predictable on the left side of the field (goes to his left way too much there).

Barnes 6 did most of the running for Bruin and helps open up the defense. Assisted on the goal.

Bruin 7 match winner BUT not his best night. I want to see him battling in the air more second half other wise sub him off earlier

Ownby didn't get to see enough of him to rate
    Carracco same as above
    Sherrod same as above

Kofi had a couple of sloppy passes, but put in a number of quality crosses, drew a corner kick off a great run into the box, had a goal line clearance, set up a great ball for an onrushing Clark in the box but Clark touch too heavy, had a fantastic slide tackle in the 76th minute in the box to stop a dangerous cross from going in. His yellow card was a calculated take down that stopped a potentially dangerous counter. By no stretch of the imagination did he have a ho hum game.

Taylor, on the other hand, was at fault for whiffing his header on the goal line clearance, got beaten a number of times both on the ground and on the long balls over the top, committed a few needless fouls in dangerous positions. Made a few nice recoveries and did some good things but generally he was the weakest link in the defense last night.
