I think the best game of the lot will be that first semifinal between Hidalgo and Las Vegas. It'll be interesting to see Chile Farias and Mark Ughy playing at the Sears Centre again.
Interesting that only 1 team left avg's over 1,000 per game in attendance. I would hate to see a merger between the PASL and MISL and eliminate the 4 teams that had the best playoffs, because they play in front of small crowds.
I am thinking of coming to Chicago for that weekend's games... but that weekend is the MISL Finals. When I find out the game time for Syracuse vs. Milwaukee, I can make my plans.

This is absolutely ridiculous- SEARS Center for those 4 teams? Baltimore v Milwaukee would barely draw 1500 (and that would be hundreds of Blast/Wave fans making the trip) Who in their right mind came up with this idea? Hildago v Vegas in the SEARS CENTER- the rent alone is what $10,000 or more? Sorry to be a naysayer but this has huge financial disaster written all over it just forgot when typing this the Mustangs will be there.. better hope the Stangs can sell a few thousand tix
I AM STILL SICK over last Saturday's PASL playoff loss by the Sockers to the mercenary Las Vegas Legends for SO many reasons. Lets hope the PASL gets its act together a bit more next season. It is a great game! I wish I had the means to get to the Newman Cup this year. Last years final four is the same save host Chicago handed a spot and San Diego being eliminated. Last years Semi Finals both ending in Golden gaols were epic! Any plans for a broadacst/webcast (or DVD of such broadcast) rather than struggle with America One's crummy feeds? Even after the fact ,HELP!

I'll be there both days. The wife and kids are coming tonight, so I'll probably get there around halftime of the first semifinal. I'll probably be by myself tomorrow.
I didn't make it today, but strongly considering making the drive tomorrow. I haven't found anyone to ride down with me.
I also enjoyed it when the rectangular covering over one of the Xtreme Soccer League logos on the carpet tore during the second half of the La Fiera-Legends game and they had to uncover the logo for the rest of the game. Between games, someone put grey duct tape over the words Xtreme Soccer League, but the green X still showed.
