I love the way at the end where he essentially blames it on everyone else's misperception of him, as if the way people view him has nothing to do with the dozen 'events' he's been involved with. I'll admit I always hoped he would man up and realize his potential. I thought recently he might have turned it around but I'm officially done.
while i never quite became a fan of his, i thought (and still think) that he's very talented. like you, after seeing him play during the holidays, i had hopes of him growing up and going on to live up to his potential (if elsewhere). and, like you, i was clearly wrong. le sigh.
I came to terms today that St. Nick is gone. There's a scene in the first Lord of the Rings, where Frodo asks why they don't just kill Smeagol. Gandalf answers that he feels that Smeagol might still have a role to play in "all this". That's kinda how I hoped it would end for Bendtner. Maybe, deep down, I hoped he would've scored a game winner in an important match for us this season.
Did we beat you in the league cup this year too? Thought it was just the two league matches and the FA cup.

Can't we just cut our economic losses and but him on a free? how much could he get anyhow, 5 million at best? I'm sure the extra FA Cup prize money, merchandising money, is way larger than that....
Two good players for us scored cracking goals in the Fa Cup 3rd round....I'll always have soft spots for them.
It shoulda been that way but Wenger handled him poorly this season. We played Giroud in circumstances where he was obviously not going to do anything for us where Bendtner might have. If I were Bendtner I'd have been pissed too.
