Also a statement to Bieler from Vermes by starting him in the marquee game that he's a valued member of the team.

The whole "I believe that we will win" chant when you're winning in the 92nd minute seems pretty unadventurous. Most people believe they are going to win.

The player stop and backs into Zusi and Zusi is called for a foul. Incredible.

Not all of the bad officiating against KC either. That missed handball is the biggest call of the game.

By the way, Dwyer has had a big impact in his few minutes.

The guy bends over and backs right into Zusi and it's a foul on Zusi? Come on!

Agreed. The ref lost the plot at the end though.

Doesn't shock me too much. I've seen him play before.

Also, who is worse with this chippiness? The ref or the announcer?

A bunch of WTF fouls on KC the last several minutes. Replacement MLS refs are better.

    Maybe.

Well, to be fair, Sporting has blown it in the final minute of added time before (see Saturday for one example).

Well done from SKC. Don't know if a goal is enough to stand up, but that's a very good Cruz Azul team that the Wiz just beat.

In the end this is typical SKC style. They were never going to run the score up.

On the other hand if you'd have to pick an MLS team to go on the road in Mexico with this set up it's probably them. I don't think there's ever been an MLS team that has such a strong road defense ...

SJ and KC are pretty much eliminated. Time for my Galaxy to show the way. 2-0 at home and we stand a chance on the away leg.

KC definitely has a shot by not allowing a road goal to CA. All they need is a goal in Mexico and CA would need 3 goals. I think they have a better shot than SJ and I think they will advance.
