Will Bruin man of the match!!! Easy!
The chemistry as a whole just seemed amazing....now I don't want to get too excited since
NE was depleted. This is why we trust in Dom - he knows how to pick them.

Montreal next week and I fully believe we should beat them since Dallas beat them (they suck)
and we are playing at home. Add to that my General despise of that team and another 4-0 or 5-0
    should and will happen!!

This is bullkaka-I used to do the same thing and then last summer they quit allowing me to bring in an empty bottle. So I tried a different entrance and they stopped me too. What entrance do you use? Any restrictions on the bottle type?

I was unable to go to the stadium on Saturday and had to watch it on the tube. How did the attendance and atmosphere look and feel in person? I hate how it looks on tv, but the sound was good.

Wow,I was actually able to successfully smuggle a full bottle of water because they never thoroughly checked me nor scanned me. Talk about fail. Someone could've shot up the place you know.

This was at the NE entrance at dowling and texas.

You really cannot compare other teams road games to our home game.

    BBVA-abbreviation for soft target.

But damn, if I try to bring in a bottle all hell breaks loose.

Reminds me of that scene from Airplane 2 where they stop the little old lady at the metal detector and then four terriorists with m60s walk right through without anyone noticing.

Last year they decided to wand me going in-I am wearing my Boniek authentic. They tell me that I could be hiding something under it and want to wand me. I look at my fat gut and barrel chest and explain to them in this slim fit jersey I look like a damn stuffed sausage and you think I am sneaking something in?

See Rey-they stop you for you ticket in your section, but I can't get through the front door. Maybe we look like hooligans.

Shit, last year they stopped me to wand me 3 games in a row saying it was random. I went off on the guy for racial profiling even though he wasn't the same guy from the two previous games. I've never been stopped again. But I don't really blame them for stopping me. Supporter with long hair and long beard and always half drunk.

I think this will go down for me as the game where Boniek has fully taken the reigns of this team from Brad. He won't be the vocal leader Brad is, but you could tell that he was pulling all the strings from that centralized spot. Hopefully both of them will have a great year all the way through.

I have made it a point to buy less beer this year. Last year i stopped buying food. I just have to find a way to get a water bottle cuz i have to have something to drink for the nervous tension. Last year i go one beer then used that for a water cup in the 2nd half. Works out pretty well.
The cost is just crazy if you are going to a majority of the games. I really want do a comparison, but i really feel like BBVA is the most expensive venue for beer in town.

toyota center is a bit more expensive.
the $10 tall boys are a bit cheaper than the $8 12oz at toyota center.

i know reliant has decent beer prices cuz of what happened a few years back... http://www.bizjournals.com/houston/news/2011/10/21/reliant-stadium-suds-among-nfls.html

everytime i buy a beer at the rodeo though, it's like $10 for that aluminum bottle though... still smaller and more expensive than big can at BBVA

If they're still doing the designated driver of the game you can sign up for that and get a free coke and then use that cup for water.

Years ago in another existence I was meeting a colleague at Hobby. I identified myself as being armed to the guy at the checkpoint, he checked my credentials and then told me that regardless of that he was required to wand me.

Being somewhat perplexed I asked the reason why, considering the fact that I had identified myself as a federal agent who was carrying an authorized concealed weapon.

The response was that even though I was authorized to go through to the concourse or on an aircraft armed, they had to check and see if I was carrying a bomb.

    Duh!!!!

    you got me.
Did they really stop people from bringing in water bottles this year??? I know the last two years they have let people in with them to refill with water. I wonder if it's just misinformed people at the gates or if they changed it.

I am willing I could go to all four gates and get different responses from each.

Has to be plastic and 20oz or less. Mine's clear if that makes any difference and it's empty when I bring it in. I've seriously never had any issue with this and I'm surprised to hear you have.

In the context I used, I absolutely can. The only thing I am comparing is points earned.

I guess i can try again, but its almost not worth the confrontation. You never know who you will get and at least once I have gotten a horrible supervisor that made my blood boil. Normal circumstances I wouldnt stand for it, but since I had been drinking there's not much i could do. From a legal stand point if you have been drinking you are in the wrong and guilty unless you can prove your are innocent.

I bring an actual reusable plastic water bottle, but a 20oz spring water bottle would probably be safer in case you got hassled over it. The only disadvantage is that it might be a little trickier to fill it up from the water fountain.

    EDIT: I stand corrected
    • Empty, clear plastic bottle 32 ounces or less.

Then they will say rules have changed. Grab their paper version and then be like... Okay fine.

@metroag - glad to report that I wasnt made to show my tickets this time. I had them in hand, but the lady asked "are going to your season tix" and when I said said "yes" she waived me by. she was downright pleasant! I hope she's our attendant going forward.

also glad to report that 5* didn't check my rectum for contraband at the entrance (this time). fight the power.
