Early enough in the week for Farrell to have a chance on Saturday.

He hasn't fully trained in 5 weeks. There is zero chance I would risk starting him on Saturday. Get him back to fitness first.

Got tickets yesterday..it's a 3-hour drive to Chester, but I can take my daughter who lives in Philly to the game for her birthday. She's a former TnT lover, now 23, but still a Revs fan. Let's hope they don't disappoint. That was an ugly game to sit through. Showed me how important Nguyen is to this team. 57 and mild ... plus good Jamaican food ... Go Revs!

I'm not personally making this trip, as I went to Houston. @thecastigador might be able to help.

Yeah, talk to @franharrington on twitter or email web@midnightriders.com and they'll sort you out with all the details.

They'll definitely be tailgating because you can't do anything else in Chester, really.

I watched Philly versus Portland last weekend (an entertaining game), and Philly reads as much improved over last year. Half their starting lineup is new, unlike, oh, I don't know, some team I can name. I think they're a formidable matchup. I hope a certain someone has been sorting out our defense this week, otherwise McInerney is going to eat us alive.

They looked really solid. Edu looked especially good in the middle. Has to be a great feeling for him to be comfortable and playing. I think Cristian Maidana is going to be their star this year. I can see him turning into a Rosales/Morales level player in the league. He's got a great touch and hits a mean set ball.

Not sure why you are worried about the on-field matchup/results; the budget is fine. Pay attention to what matters!

If Alston is out, I really hope they don't roll out the twin disasters-waiting-to-happen at fullback (Tierney and out-of-position Barnes). Use Woodbine, use Smith, use someone else who has actually gotten minutes at those positions so the Revs aren't down within the first minute again.

Sorry to post here if its the wrong place. I ordered tickets through the Riders about a month ago, anyone know when I can expect to receive them? I tried emailing the Riders and haven't heard back, and talked to one on Reddit and he said they would be emailed to me, but I haven't seen them yet.

Aside from that, really excited to be going to my first ever away game! Been sitting in the fort for about 8 years, but I can't wait to see the team in enemy territory. Expecting a big improvement from Saturday. Can't get worse! Right??

Sorry about the delay. Tickets were emailed out to everyone a few seconds ago. We'll be in touch with more details about the trip after our call with the team tomorrow.

I'm thinking the best we can do at this point is:
    Shuttleworth
    Woodbine-Barnes-GoJo-Smith

But I would be OK with:

    Shuttleworth
    Barnes-AJ-GoJo-Woodbine

    or:

    Barnes-Maca-GoJo-Woodbine

I think Barnes is pretty solid anywhere in defense, with the only thing he's really lacking is pace

Think we'll see Shuttleworth again after 4 goals? Not that he could do much about all of them, but if the position is really an open competition I would think we'll see Knighton this week.

Philly doesn't play with a lot of speed. McInerney, Le Toux, and Maidana up top, maybe Casey is back this week.

I'd go with Woodbine, Barnes, Goncalves, Tierney.

I didn't agree with Shuttleworth starting last week, but you have to give him his shot now. Play him 3 or 4 matches and give him a chance to get the defense set. Pulling guys in and out of goal destroys confidence.

I'm just not sure what Tierney gives you at left back besides adequate crosses. Given the choice I'd rather have Woodbine at LB, Barnes at RB and Maca at CB. I think whoever you put next to GoJo, you have to play them at CB for a few games for them to get some timing down. Thats why its important to pull AJ now

Don't disagree, but I'm betting we see Tierney at LB.
