There is now a 3-section ( 219-221 ) area that is considered "general admission", it was very full last night and from my understanding they can oversell it and say the area is firstcome then rest of GA tix are SRO

That's great! If I were the dynamo, I'd sell SRO tickets and put those people in the corners

"gonna give this a try and see if it works.......

    stumbledore does NOT suck!!""

well, looks like im writing this before every game now......

That first goal was fantastic. quick decision. smart decision. balanced turn around and shot placed with accuracy and pace. second goal was nice positioning and good concentration to not lose ball during flight.
2nd half however, one on one with keeper.......well, yeah. Stumbledore did play much much better defensively last night as well. of course it's easy vs that NE team, but his engine was much improved. instead of expecting the ball he went to it. One game isn't gonna take away his poop filled past 1.5 yrs, but last night was one hell of a start back to redemption.

Ashe was his usual average but the one cross (a good one) will erase all criticism of him. he still gets beat way to often and his speed is gone. i worry about that side of the D

Hosrt had about a good of a first game as you could have for a CB. His positioning was incredible and reaction time was impressive. communicated well and covered over for his out of position team mates well. look forward to seeing this guy develop. He will be compared to Omar Gonzales in no time.

Barnes losing the spare tire seemed to benefit him. His runs were a huge reason bruin has so much space. if he can continue to stay high and blast those back shoulder runs towards the penalty spot after the 60 mnt mark, we are in good shape.

Rico looked great minus the limping and grabbing his side, leg and knee towards end of game. did we ever find out what his mystery illness was last year? hopefully he just needs to get in game shape and isn't physically limited.

OBG/Davis were superb. Brad's ability to switch field and come inside to collect when Rico plays D is world class. OBG's ability to break people down kept NE from pressing him which allowed him even more vision. And his D was as best as I've seen from that position in a long time.

Tally kept his goal kicks in bounds. that's a huge improvement for me

Look forward to getting 3 next week then start proving ourselves vs better talent. we are gonna need every single point this year and love starting off with a win.

Having experienced the interminable delays before and having a good idea of the crowds and people flow at BBVA Compass stadium, I usually stock up before the game or leave a few minutes before the half to beat the rush. Neither one of those methods was effective last night. Things felt slow and disorganized. They lose substantial sales on these nights because folks just give up. Robertson was awful but expected, at BBVA its like they almost can't handle the crowd of it is a sellout and most show up.

That strategy was a failure last night as well at halftime. A guy near us got in there and spent 20 minutes in line for beer. I can buy a drink on a SWA flight easier than at a ball game

There is a beer guy outside the stadium in the center circle. No one ever there except smokers

Arrived early and ordered a beer (no line). Took the lady at cash register around 5 minutes to figure out how to ring it up. Could not figure out how to use credit card so I resorted to paying with cash.

Every week the concessions staff seem to be new, they never have any clue what they are doing. By far the slowest lines of any stadium in Houston.

I learned to not drink at Dynamo games, so that I don't miss any of the game pissing, and buying overpriced piss.

no joke, I am doing an experiment this season to see if I can go the entire season without drinking any beer at BBVA-I want to see if I save enough money for a parking pass next season.

I had to do the water-I ran 4 miles before the match, showered and got in there, no time to hydrate. I was parched by the 35th minute.

I just watched the game again. Corey's pass that set up the third goal was perfect.

I went down to get a coke, there was a line but it moved pretty fast. But I ordered the coke, the lady said we don't have coke, just RC. So I said ok, RC. She said said iced tea? I said, no, RC. And she said iced tea? When we got that straight, she kept forgetting what I ordered. Then she couldn't get the machine to work, they were all just spraying air. But I did end up getting a $7 drink for the souvenir cup I ended up forgetting and throwing away....

Actually the ladies were nice, kept apologizing and kept saying that this was their first day.

I'd love for them to chalk up the delays to the learning curve of innovation in the area of customer service. It makes the recovering post-lobotomy staff at Robertson seem zippy.

    Shhhhhhh!!!!!! Cash only.

Some of are bringing kids to the game so going to a bar beforehand really isn't an option.

Obviously a lot of people enjoy buying beers at games and I'm not calling folks out because it's their choice and their money, but I've never understood why someone who tailgates is willing to spend $11 per beer when you can get a 6-pack (or more) of your favorite brand for cheaper and still walk into the game with a buzz.

Actually, I don't think I've ever bought concessions at BBVA. I may have bought a bag of peanuts once, but any time it crosses my mind, the miser in me shuts that down fast. Not boycotting them, but the prices are just too high for me here and at every stadium.

The water fountains are just fine and you can bring an empty water bottle in, which I do every game in the summer.

From my personal experience, if I walk into the stadium with a buzz I'm more likely to buy a few beers at the game. I normally try not to buy anything but, once I'm feeling good my wallet tends to open up LOL

i am devastated but i did not get to see the game...ive only ever missed a few and this was one.

im looking for commentary on OBG playing in the middle. From the highlights it appears Cascio on the wing wide right will work and with OBG creating possessing etc.we should be more dangerous this season..

is that a correct assumption based upon what you guys saw Sat night?

I am very excited about our offensive potential with this line up.

had a blast. Bought a six pack before the game to tailgate and of course bought a couple tall boys in the stadium. Life is good!
