Who: Houston Dynamo v. Montreal Impact When: Saturday, March 15 @ 7:30 pm CST Where: BBVA Compass Stadium; Houston, TX Records: Montreal Impact (0-1-0) tied for 5th place in the EAST Houston Dynamo (1-0-0) 1st place in the EAST TV: CSN-H Radio: 1560/850 This is the 2nd of 17 home league games this year. It is the first of three games against Montreal in the regular season. The other games are June 9 up in Quebec and then September 6 in Houston. In 2013 the Dynamo went 2-2-0 against the Impact in the regular season and playoffs overall. The losses were both up in Montreal while Houston won both games in Texas. Oddly, all four games were shutouts with the Impact outscoring the Dynamo 7-0 in the first two games and Houston outscoring the Impact 4-0 in the last two games. The playoff game last October was notable for the three Montreal ejections in the 2nd half. The Dynamo have never lost to Montreal here in Houston. Montreal went 14-13-7 last year overall finishing in 5th in the East. They were 4-9-4 in road games last year with a -10 goal difference. The Impact lost their first 2014 game, 3-2, up in Frisco on March 8. Montreal has only won 1 game in their last 11 MLS games overall. After the game in Houston, Montreal's next league game is at home when they host Seattle on March 22. In home regular season league games Houston last year was 9-4-4 with a +7 goal difference. After the Impact game the Dynamo get a bye week and then go on the road to face the Vancouver Whitecaps on March 29.
Montreal @ Dynamo, all-time: 07/21/12 HOU 3-0 MON 10/06/12 HOU 1-1 MON 10/04/13 HOU 1-0 MON 10/31/13 HOU 3-0 MON, playoffs That's 3-0-1 with 8 goals scored and 1 allowed.
I like this scoreline and I think Barnes gets the goal he was after last week. Not sure if the other one comes from Bruin, but that would certainly make me happy if it did. I'd love for him to shake the curse this year. Our defense continues to coalesce around Horst and Taylor so Hall gets another clean sheet. Make it happen!
Weather forecast for Saturday night: Pretty much the same as last week. 7 pm 68F 68% humidity wind 6 mph N Overcast 30% chance of precipitation Down to a 10% chance by 10 pm.

No, I picked Bruin up yesterday for my MLS Fantasy team which means he is about to hit a long and barren stretch of no goals.
We had 2 inches of rain at my house while I was enjoying the pleasant evening at BBVA. The best of both worlds.
For lack of a better place to put it, good news on Cascio. Darrell Lovell reports that Cascio is considered day-to-day, so it seems no ligament damage.
We are up to an 80% chance of a thunderstorm for Saturday afternoon. The chances decline a bit in the evening. Get ready to get wet.
But like I said before, I had 2 inches at my house. I think we were lucky at the stadium. Also, I think the big crowd was even more impressive considering the forecast.
Would be cool but I'm assuming it's an extremely unlikely thing to accomplish. Where's our stats freaks? What's the lowest number of home goals any MLS team ever allowed?
Wasn't that Pat and our boys back in 2008 iirc. The year we set the record for least goals conceded over one season.
