I'm going to go out on a limb here and predict a rout by the Dynamo.

    4-1 Dynamo

3-2 Dynamo. Based on preseason. I foresee lots of high scoring games this year.

Yes! If I can't have Barnes in the center then OBG is the next best thing (or better) and it keeps Brad Davis out of the center.

Agree. I think our best midfield lineup right now is Davis - Clark - Garcia - Cascio. It is basically how we set out in the last 3-5 preseason games and I think it is what we'll see tonight. I'd be shocked if Lopez starts given the issues around his defensive abilities this preseason.

3-0 Boniek with the goal loving this.

Edit: Hall has looked shaky a bit.

Edit2: Horst has been all over with those blocks.

Getting rid of Bobby and bringing in Horst has been a huge plus.

Great game so far, Will has been incredible.

Tonight is one of those nights I love being proven wrong. I gave Bruin alot of shit last season for lack of finishing. Happy to see him in old form tonight. Hoping for more of it throughout the year. I like the pace we're playing with so far, hopefully we can keep it up and shake off the rust I'm seeing with ball control at that speed.

The Revs came to dive tonight from what it seems. Alot of easy falls from some big guys. The refs seems to be doing a decent job so far. Glad to see it not be an embarassment with the replacement refs like the NFL had.

Define irony-Bruin gets hate and scores 2 in the first 13 mins-no-the fact that Corey Ashe gave him a picture perfect cross for Bruin's second.

Where did all those crickets come from? Never noticed them before-it's sooooo quiet around here.

It's amazing what scoring goals does for the team. Takes a lot of pressure off of everyone, including himself. He better take this and run with it.

I'll take that game 30 more times please! Great movement of both players and ball. If Bruin and Omar score on those breakaways it could easily have been 6 or more.

Keep it going like that Mr Bruin!

Maybe we should hate more guys??? It's either an excellent omen or the season is all downhill from here.

Team played excellent, should have scored 6. Bruin taking advantage of his first chance absolutely changed the game - it is so crucial to take advantage of early chances.

Is Barnes lighter and faster? Really hope Cascio is not seriously injured.

And finally, anyone else read the cards they stuffed in some seats about the fan rules and no using of slurs, particularly anti-gay ones? Gotta love political correctness!!

    A few observations:

    1) David Horst: Take a bow son. Another great move by Dom.

    2) Will Bruin: That's how you shut the haters up. Two goals, one assist. Could have had a hat trick.

    3) Corey Ashe: Well done with the ball at your feet on the offensive side of the pitch. Great assist.

    4) Tony Cascio: Wanted to see more of him but we didn't see much of him. Has the skill though. Hope the injury isn't serious.

Overall, well played by every player but wanted to point those four out.

On a side note, I thought the referee had a very very good match. If he's a replacement, MLS ought to consider bringing him on board full time.

Reports say Cascio twisted his knee.

@Westside Cosmo I was listening to the radio feed and he said that Barnes took up kickboxing to get into better shape so he dropped a few pounds.

Also does Taylor look a bit bigger I know he didn't get to train much after the injury but he looks like he picked up a few pounds.

Cascio with a twisted is very unfortunate news. On the upside, Horst showed all the right signs tonight. He's big, he's nimble, and he's physical. He and Taylor put in the work tonight and it showed.

For a second, i believed we were playing DC United.

    is NER, Bruin's new DCU?

Why are we missing all the one on one's and scoring on the complicated looking ones..

    anyways. great job today.

A good day when KC loses and we trounce a team in our division. KC is gonna cry with all the extra games they have with CCL etxra and we are gonna be fresher.

as good as Cascio was offensively he was guilty of not helping Kofi with defense fo alot of the night

Bruin played with an anger and aggressiveness that I want to every time he gets on the pitch. Second half was a big drop off and more typical of his play like last year. Two goals and one assist means he is man of the match in my book. Great feed by Will to Boniek for his goal.

Boniek as AM is better than Rico becuase of his vision and superior passing. I hope we continue with this set up.

Horst commands the area when Tally isn't around the ball.

Corey with the nice service. I was looking at last years stats and noticing he had so few. Hopefully he has been working on them and his shooting as well becuase it will help if he can pinch a goal or two for us this year.

Great aggressiveness in getting forward by the whole team and they should all be proud of their effort tonight let's hope we can do as well against NE next game when all their players are healthy.
