Hold on...PMAs are coming through? That's pretty big news. Anyone else seen any PMA movement?

 

Patience.. Also be careful if u entered duplicate addresses, duplicate names regarding PMA/general Or cards ... That could deny an app. Although it could also increase ur chances

 

I'm a bit skeptical Until I see more people with success

 

$700 charge on my CC in random lottery for non-PMA tickets.

4 Cat 1 tix for USA-Portugal in Manaus.

 

No, we applied to the same games but ALL had different guests, 4 were with boleto and only 1 with credit card app. The 4 Brazilians do have the same living address, but I dont see why that would matter as one brother can win tackets and have guests as friends and not want to take family members, right? These were all in the general lottery and we did no PMA apps.

 

From what many of the users have mentioned u cannot have duplicate addresses

Casual board stalker here. I live in California and my 2 tickets Category 1 for Match 56 - 1H v 2G - Salvador have just appeared as a pending charge on my Visa Credit card. Still waiting to hear from US vs Germany that I applied via PMA

 

Just to clarify for folks that want details about successful applications, my brother in law applied for the three USA first-round games and the Rio quarter final -- four category 1 tickets, but willing to accept lower categories. All were part of the general FIFA lottery. He got 4 category 1 tickets to one of the USA games and no tickets to the QF game.

 

Just won 3 Cat1 USA v. Ghana Tickets (Non-PMA). I already have Mexico v. Brazil Tickets, so just waiting on the Mexico PMAs to see if I got tickets to the Camerun game. Now I gotta find a place to stay in Natal.

 

After 48 hours of stress, frustration, anger, desperation, I wake to see $1521 AUD charge which is $1374 US on my CC

I applied for 2X Cat 1 Match 50 1Cv2D, Match 51 1Bv2A, Match 56 1Hv2G, Match 54 1Gv2H

So assuming no PMA charges as yet then I have 3 out 4 Rd16 of tickets I applied for, if they have given me a lower category in a few then potential i have all 4 matches. in Rio, Fortaleza, Salvador and Porto Alegre.

So Bloody Happy right now as I have mates applying for other games too for me, any doubles I get will sell Face Value to Aussies first Travelling thru the Fanatics first. then worldwide after that.

You can work out how many tickets and what categories you got using some maths.
First, did you get the $US charge, directly from your CC? Or did you just use an exchange website to get the approximate amount from the AUD charge? IE, I mean did the charge come through in AUD, but in the details section it specified how much in $US the actual charge was for?
Secondly, did you elect to have tickets delivered? If so, is the delivery charged now, in the same transaction or separately later?
If you tell me the above, Ill use a formula to tell you what you got.

 

$270 charge for match 21, non-PMA.

 

The Charge was 1521.37 in Australian dollars, my account doesn't show the US amount unfortunately, yes I elected to have them delivered. I used the online XE live currency exchange rate to get $1374. Yes to accept lower category

Just got charged (13:20 CST) for 2 tix GENERAL sale for match 22 cat 3, US address/cc. They included the $41 delivery fee. I requested 4 matches but still very happy to get at least 1 pair.
Anxiously waiting for the PMA which seems not to be started yet.

 

Assuming the $270 is in $US, and that you applied for 2 tickets, that's an easy one - You must have got 2 Category 2 tickets with no delivery. (Or if you did elect for delivery, it has not been charged yet.)

To work out exactly what tickets you got, you need to provide the following
1. How many tickets applied for in each match, and what stage it is (IE, group, round 16, qtr final etc)
2. Which category applied for, and if you ticked the "will accept lower category box" for each match.
3. If you elected for delivery. (Can anyone confirm if delivery fee is being charged yet? And if so, is it in the same transaction as the ticket purchase?)

So has anyone received USA PMA tickets yet?

I applied for 4 tickets to the Manaus and Recife matches, but I haven't seen any charges yet. Going to be angry if we got totally shut out. Especially since other report success going non-PMA.

 

Because you don't know the exact amount in $US dollars it is much harder to work out and possibly won't be accurate because there are so many variations. The amount in $AU might also include any associated banks fees/conversion rate fees etc. You can call your bank and ask them what the actual charge was in $US dollars. This way we will have a better idea.

But in the mean time working off approximately $1374 less the 41 delivery charge leaves $1333 US. The most likely outcome is that you got like you originally thought with 3/4 category 1's which comes to $1320. ($13 difference in exchange rate) But you also could have got 2 category 1's and 2 category 3's which also comes to $1320...So if you call your bank and they say the charge was for 1361$US, (1320 + 41 delivery) then it would be one of the above scenario's

 

Maybe writing on here is good luck. Got a call from my bank to verify a FIFA charge for $750. Don't know which game but I AM GOING TO BRAZIL!

 

Historically my lovely bank charge me the international transaction fee normally as a stand alone charge and a week later. I'm praying its your thoughts at 2 category 1's and 2 category 3's cause then that's a clean sweep of what i asked for which would include the Brazil Game. Either way its 3 out of 4 at least so you got to be happy with that.........Cheers LeighBurton what is your country of residency?

Got charged which is good news but it is only for $216 which I believe is a Category 1 ($175) and delivery charge ($41). On one hand glad to get something but as I applied for 2 England games and 5 games in Rio it looks like I only got 1 out of 7, was hoping to do better so definitely disappointed overall.

 

I'm Aussie too mate. I'm in Brisbane. I only applied for Australian PMA's, so don't know if I'll be lucky yet. My brother was lucky yesterday in the general ballot, but he is the only one I know personally, (out of about 5 people) who have been successful in the general lottery so far.
