You know what I just realized?? You know that sense of excitement and anticipation you get when your team is counterattacking? Nowadays I feel nothing, because with Giroud spearheading the attack, I just know that absolutely nothing is going to happen at the end of it. And it's not just him, none of our players seem to be able to spring passes together when we are heading towards the opposite end at a fast pace.
He needs more space, and he was operating in really congested areas. We need someone to make runs when he picks up the ball forty yards from goal.
