His regular card is only a 76. He does play better than his ranking. He has speed and has good heading stats. Two of the most overpowered skills of the game.

That doesn't significantly mean a particular player doesn't get a stat boost. Sherman Cardenas was boosted to a 79! Better than guarin and close James Rodriguez at 83-84 The trend isn't because ucl or other tournaments but more on form. I think he deserves a stat boost this semester.
