Despite the god awful fog and questionable camera work, I was impressed with the fact that TFC was stringing together 6-7 passes consistently. It also appeared as though we were eager to pass and create chances through the middle and the the wings, rather than just lobbing the ball forward. Bradley looked great on the ball!!

Is there any schedule for tfc's pre-disney tournament friendlies?

So, no more games scheduled until the tournament, it seems.

    • Jan. 29: Match vs. Columbus Crew
    • Feb. 2: Match vs. New England Revolution
    • Feb. 5: Match vs. D.C. United
?? I guess the first two didn't happen?

I don't understand why we need another goalkeeper. The money accumulating from trades, sales etc. such as Ecks and now Elmer should be enough to keep Laba on a good salary. Getting a top goalie would be a plus although Bendik has proved to be a very good MLS keeper. This proposed new deal would mean Laba and maybe others would have to go to pay for him. I can.t believe after all the praise heaped on Laba that he could be dropped, unless TFC have gone nuts again. Say it isn't so Joe. (A baseball reference)

I suspect building networks for future acquisitions has part in why Cesar is being signed. TFC just advertised itself as a destination to every Brazilian footballer, and others who pays attention to football

I don't think anything can be done to have kept Laba. His cost (including his transfer fee) was too high.

Really? What's it say to the Argentine pipeline/network?

Very unfortunate. Had a great shot at making the WC.

I'm guessing they'll put DeRo up front and re-jig the midfield.

Yeah, that is too bad. He was called up for Nigerian squad. Seems like now we don't have a backup front player. Do we still have Braun?

DeRo as the #10, move Rey to the left, and Jackson takes his place on the right.

Oh well, we'll have to go shopping for another forward. I won't settle for anybody less than Suarez! ;-)

Not surprising. It will take at least 5-8 competitive games, before they start to play like a team.

Best we get these games out of our system now - results in pre-season don't matter - building a team does.

Signing Cesar was a mistake. We should've signed a Latvian* goalkeeper instead

1-1 is your final. Bekker scored on a PK for TFC

He'll have trouble cracking the starting XI, but I'm hoping that this is a breakout year for Bekker.
