Looks like Coach X (yeah, I'm calling him that) or someone in FBF wants the NT to start evaluating/preparing them right and early for 2016-17 eliminatorias . . . either that or FBF sees $$$$ but one can hope, right? At least let it be for both reasons plus having exposure for our young players to MLS and other leagues.

Considering this would happen in late may, I think the local league players will be all available for it. Even international players would be. Plus is against some decent teams, so I hope this happpens.

Yeah! That's what I'm talking about!

We may crash in most of these games, but the sooner we build a base, the better we'll be for the qualifiers, assuming the friendlies are constant.

I'm skeptical about this, let's wait and see how it plays out. We are probably not a the same level with this teams, but good preparation will be imperative. Even if we loose having a good showing will get us on the right track.
On the other hand if this is one of those rush jobs were all we care about is collecting $$$$ we are going to get embarrassed.

We're likely to lose all these games. We're playing vs teams that have been preparing for a world cup. We haven't played in ages, and likely (hopefully) using talented young guns new to nats.

If we play 4-5 matches with in a 2 months time, I'm confident our boys will begin playing some strong soccer after the 3rd game.

If we use our older players, then this is pointless.

I will use an entire pay check to attend these games if we have a strong young team for friendlies.

According to Marcas of Spain, Bolivia will be playing Spain in Spain in may. Bolivia will be their last friendly in Europe before they embark on their world cup campaign.

    Shi%.

Would be great to get at least one friendly in before that match. We're going to have a lot of rust as a team.

Yeah, it's been like forever since we played a friendly.

Any time they've come to the states they've just rolled over and collected their check. No hustle, no heart, no balls. If they're gonna play like that when they come to the states then just stay the hell home. Last game in the states I saw where they played with pride was against Ireland a few years back.

That was a good friendly. Jaime and Arce not to mention the Green Goblin were amazing that game.

Im going. Representing is more important than the outcome. If I see Vaca though, Im tossing some major verbage at Azkargorta.

For the sake of pride, I hope they bring players that can make us proud.

Looks like Bolivia is also coming to NY to play Greece, If that's the case I'll be there with my family repping Bolivia. I'm sure there'll be a majority Greeks, there is a big community in Astoria. Hope we have a good game. However I have yet to see any confirmation from the FBF.

If you guys are able to make it down, it would be great to get together and have a couple of beers before and or after the game.:thumbsup:And some food too.
As for the game I'm hoping to have a well organized team that is able to compete, that's all I ask for. Not trying to go there and see the same thing that happens against Mexico, you know the usual just go there to collect the money.
