Had Crew fans banded together and had the worlds largest bake sale / car wash, would we have been able to afford to put a bid in for Michael Bradley?
When I logged into bs today, I asked myself: who the hell would pay 169.99 for some pos Columbus Crew Subway Art.
"It will be a great day when the Columbus Crew has all the money they need and Toronto FC has to raise money for a DP with a bake sale."
Can we start a letter writing campaign to Vincent Tan? He has experience in re-branding and has shown a willingness to splash some cash on new players. Perhaps the combination of Precourt and Tan would be exactly what we need to see a few million US dollars spent to bring in some players.
What would the unit cost per chocolate chip cookie need to be in order to raise $10M? Does anyone have any contacts at a gentleman's club that would be willing to speak on our behalf to have some girls for the carwash? Also, has anyone considered fracking under CCS to see if there is oil or natural gas?
My brother after hearing of the Bradley news said, "time to start selling magazines to buy Altidore. Who doesn't want 136 issues for the prices of 4"
The Stadium of Dim. I've watched a lot of their games out of interest in JA. While not scoring a lot, he's be down right fantastic at times for them. Quick settles of hopeless forward passes with his back to goal and sharp plays back to midfield and then a darting run off the ball....then never getting the ball back or at least not with a chance to do anything with it. He never gets a chance to shoot because they can never get the ball to him. I'd be frustrated and mopey too. I know he's a head case but I'd have him leading our line any day.
Subway art.... for the city that has no subway... They are clearly marketing to the ironic fans... or one of the other -ronic groups....
There is nothing wrong with raisin bread or bagels, and you might also be forgetting about apple-raisin turnovers. If you want to complain about cookies, there are thousands of other options out there to eat instead. On a unrelated note, I've been wondering why hipsters never adopted eating olive-loaf, it seems right up their ally.
Another issue I have with the so-called art piece is that for some reason Crew Cat gets what looks like top billing.
The mayor favors streetcars on High Street. So I suppose if he proposes it again, it could be put up for a vote.
