That's the methodology. I know that there will more of a bias toward CAT2-3 than CAT1 but haven't seen that breakout anywhere, so kept it simple.

Ah ok fair enough, all good. Was hoping you were wrong, as it would mean more tickets available in the PMA stage then =) lol

Beware the misleading statements made by the Fanatics and GG Army - All they care about is taking your hard earned $$$ to pay for their massively overinflated tour packages before you even secure tickets.

This data is great! One more question, how are you "seeing" the data on the ticketing pages???? Is it embedded in the code on the webpage or something?

The ticketing website does requests to the FIFA server to retrieve information about availability. This is not directly on the page's code, instead being on another page which is dinamically accessed by the page you see. For whatever reason, instead of just retrieving the colors each game cat should be showing, the page retrieves the number of ticket requests, and then translates it into colors. These numbers can be accessed by simply watching the requests done by the website, which can easily be done, even with just the developer tools embedded into most browsers.

they clearly have a different (lesser) quota in pma's that trigger the high demand red.

your multiple question marks hurt my brain...

I checked the numbers for the England PMA yesterday. I just checked them again today and they have completely changed. Not changed like there has been an influx of applications, but changed so that one of the set of numbers must be completely wrong.

It also appears that thresholds for the colour coding has changed to 35 and 80.

Yes you are right. It's 35 and 80 now.

Time to republish the charts. Coming soon.

I will check if the PMA numbers for logins I have with me have changed drastically.

Republishing PMA numbers as the color coding has changed:

    Black = No availability/No demand = Less than 0
Green = Low demand = Less than 35
Amber = Medium demand = More than 35 and Less than 80
Red = High demand = More than 80

    Something weird is going on:

Whoa, 19,000+ obese tickets applied for in the opening match through Brazil PMA? Something's not right here...the round numbers in the wheelchair categories for Argentina, Brazil and Chile are also rather suspicious. Maybe they're testing something?

Yeah, W, M and O is definitely test data.

But what happened to BRA GM1 Cat1? 65536?

Can you guys use your PMA logins and confirm that the color coding is matching with mine?

There is no way that the current data is accurate. The weighting towards Cat 1 tickets, even given the buy-cat-1-tick-lower-cat strategy, can't be correct.

Surely a test value, I don't think we even have that much obesity to begin with

Test value or multiplied by 100? Strange they're all multiples of 100.

Further to that all the cat 1 figures end with 0, 3 or 6. Very strange.

Those do look like they're multiplied by 100. The values of the previous update, with a few added tickets here and there, match the values of today multiplied by 100. Now what about those CAT 1 figures? Those look a bit stranger.

Yes, there seems to be some relation.

    For example:

This isn't too precise but I could see some pattern:

    - All CAT1 numbers are multiplied by 4.
    - All CAT2 numbers are divided by 2.
    - All CAT3 numbers are divided by 7.

I did find some exceptions though but generally speaking you can tell that CAT1 numbers are made to look higher and CAT2 and CAT3 lower.

Anyway, is this a genuine mistake or is FIFA trying to bloat/shrink the figures deliberately?

    Mind boggling.

I checked for BRA, FRA and URU: the values are a little bit higher than the ones of your table. This means that those numbers are correct.

May be FIFA's designers are fixing bugs in the software and they are testing the changes in the live site. Or they just decided to confuse us and started to put random values in the most required games...

Maybe they're purposedly scrambling the numbers so people can't see them the way we are.

What about the regular lottery? Are those numbers altered as well?
