In the US, at least, you are able to watch every Arsenal game. The only match I didn't get on my cable was the League Cup match.
The Cardiff match on Wednesday is not showing up on my TV on screen guide. Not on NBC, NBCSPT, CNBC, MSNBC, NBCEXT 1-5...nowhere. ???????????????????????????
Ah....that's what I was hoping for mate... Guess it just hasn't been updated by those clever peeps at Time Warner over here yet.
It's such total bullshit (and I'm speaking as a frustrated Gooner who has DISH) that "Cheap Charlie" Ergan won't break down and offer DISH customers like myself the overflow channels like DirecTV and Comcast (and others) already do, WTF is his problem? I always thought that you're SUPPOSED to get them automatically if your TV provider carries NBCSN, in which DISH does. Call 1-800-333-DISH (available 24/7) and tell Cheap Charlie Ergan to get off his ass and START OFFERING THEM not just for us Gooners (although it would help) but also for all BPL fans of all 20 teams!!! www.dishnetwork.com BTW, as for NBC Sports Live Extra, it operates the same bullshit protocols as ESPN3.com did, that you have to be on a participating ISP to use it (I have CenturyLink via OlympusNet here in Port Townsend and neither one can get it), so I'm also screwed on that one too.
Thanks for the heads up. I was wondering why I couldn't find the game on their other sports channels.
I've been considering switching over to Dish but knowing that they don't offer the extra time channels is making me second guess doing that. I miss the way that Fox would broadcast the games with some games being tape delayed for later in the day instead of showing them all at once the way that NBC does. If NBC did it like Fox used to, it would especially help those of us with 2-tuner DVR's so that it would be much easier to watch/record the games all day long as you want to, when you want to, instead of being forced to pick and choose from 6 games going on at the same time.
If you wanna laugh. Go on over to the EPL-on-NBCSN thread, and see what a beating a guy named Schapes has been getting over the last month or so for expressing just that thought. https://www.bigsoccer.com/community/threads/epl-officially-to-nbc.1977148/ Heck you can also see yours truly getting a beating for suggesting ways that NBC could do better, or for suggesting that FOX did a few things better than NBC. (heaven forbid!)
is this something that can be decided at the local station level? hartford ct comcast listings show the tom cruise bomb knight and day from 1 to 3!?!?
Guess several FOX affiliates, Miami most notably, are bailing on today's telecast in favor of infomercials. Ridiculous.
Ya, this is messed up. It's on fox deportes and I guess they figure hat everyone that likes soccer in Miami speaks Spanish so why not make a few bucks on he magic bullet blender.
Yeah, New York is one of the several stations that FOX owns themselves, so there's not some other company interfering with things like this.
it worked out, i guess the guide was never updated so i had to dvr 2 infomercials and half of that movie...
Ditto here too. When I was watching the Bundesliga from 2010-13 I only watched VfL Wolfsburg matches and for those had to settle for those dicey pirate streaming sites and if it weren't for a virus I picked back last August I would still be watching them. Thank goodness for NBC and NBCSN who have stepped it up in showing The Gunners almost every week, but for those rare occasions when they are on Extra Time (DISH does not have Extra Time and my small hick town ISP cannot get Live Extra) I pretty much either have to bear with no footy for that particular Matchday or watch another match just to check the out-of-town score bug NBCSN shows in the top right hand part of your screen, to see how Arsenal are doing. Anyhow, come this Monday afternoon at 12:00 pm PST on NBCSN, let's go into Villa Park and take back our three points that ARSE-ton Villa stole from us on Opening Day!!! COYG!!!
Worth noting in here: Gilberto will be a studio analyst for ESPN during the World Cup. http://espnmediazone.com/us/press-r...rooy-named-espn-analysts-2014-fifa-world-cup/
Wow, I wonder if he's been working hard on his English while back in Brazil. I don't recall him being too impressively fluent, when he was in London, immersed in English.
The unfortunate thing is, I am at work at NAVMAG Indian Island, during the time that the match takes place and I don't have a DVR (I go "old-skool" and still own both a VCR and a DVD Recorder), but I hope to hear good news about The Gunners after work. COYG!!!
Is that really that rare? About 90% of the football I watch is Arsenal. I don't have the time, or really the inclination, to watch other teams much (apart from Intl/Euro/WC, etc.). I will put the early game on without sound on Saturday morning fairly often, I guess.
I watch whatever PL game is on when I wake up on the weekends, since it never really interferes with my other sports watching.
This. I used to watch Italian and Spanish matches on BeIn when I got the channel for free, but I'm always a little amazed on this forum when some random left back from the Portuguese league and someone says "Yeah, I've seen him play in a few games" and I think "How in god's name is that possible?"
Here's a heads-up, courtesy of LaxBandit on the NBC/EPL thread... Feb.8 LFC-vs-AFC 7:45am on USA Networks (because of Sochi Olympics)
