We're playing in the heat. Vs Ghana in Natal, then Portugal in Manaus 6 days later, followed by Germany in Recife in 4 days, while Germany gets an extra day's rest. I think we are in good shape to advance. We are just as good as Portugal and Ghana, in fact Nate Silver (who in spite his poor hygiene actually is pretty spot on with his prognostications) gives the USA a 39% chance to advance and Portugal 40%. I think Ghana was 23%. I'll take the 1% difference and bank on Germany feeling too comfortable. Should be a good group to watch where anything could happen.
