Third best player in the world. Not even close.

Great first half - took a few minutes to settle - but pretty dominant overall...

Keep up the pressure - get the youngsters (Sterling, Flanno, Hendo, Allen) more involved...keep scoring!

I may never ever see another goal as good as the first one Luis scored tonight. Sublime doesn't even begin to cover it.

If there's another one close its his third. That was pretty damn nasty in its own right.

Reminded me of Gerrard's against Middlesborough way back when.

You will watch a lifetime of football and not see a player score a better pair of goals in one half than the first and third.

We have played fairly well with only Allen having a poor half. Sterling and Flanno had some good moments but haven't been complete players.

But Luis Suarez lives on Olympus and only descends to entertain we mortals

I thought two years ago he scored a similar goal against Norwich.

Take Gerrard off after an hour and bring Alberton on, maybe?

The fact that I saw him score a goal - 2 goals - live make me apoplectic. Thanks Wayne! As ever you are the man.

He did but it was from the right with his right foot. This one was from the left central channel on the half volley with the outside of his boot into the bottom left corner.

I know this does not meet universal approval but Flanagan has been fine for somebody who was almost on his way.

BR said he's really showed well in training the last few weeks, and he's been pretty decent given what is needed from him.

Third one was my favorite. Unbelievable improvisation.

Haven't seen the match until now. Is the midfield three any more adept than they were on the weekend. Looks like Joe Allen is bringing the pressure.

Which is twice better than what Cissokho provided with twice the balls. I get what you mean when in advanced positions, though.

Coutinho wants to get in on the act and strikes a woeful free kick about 20 yards out. WTF?
