They'll put turf over the infield.

They do it at Frontier Field in Rochester for the Rhinos. Safeco Field did foe the USA against Honduras earlier this year in a friendly after the Gold Cup. So Newark Bears Stadium will do it for the Metro. No big deal.

One goal along the third base line and the other in right-center field. The stands will be right up to the field.

The fiesld is big enough. would you rather have divots and grass soup like in giants stadium? Its not like they dont play on dirt every game on GS.

It won't be the greatest but it can be made to work. Hopefully it won't rain. I've seen it happen in Rochester, for some reason when it rains, the put-down sod comes up in clumps everytime a player cuts hard and turns. The question about the field size is legit. Maybe because it was a charity exhibition a few years ago, they didn't really use all the space availiable, but I thought the pitch at Bears Stadium was smaller than regulation.
