Yeah, but trust me, there will be a lot more than 100 people in orange there. Every year there is a lot of orange all over the stadium, and this year people that never ever travel to games were talking about going even before the first leg. Personally, I know a family of 6, a family of 4 with friends, and another couple that are going, and none of them have been past Frisco for a game before.

I think that 100 ticket allocation is Texian Army's ticket allocation. There will be way more than 100 just in the supporters section, and like you said all over the stadium there will be Orange.

From what I was told, the supporter section ticket allocation was 200 total, but as Brahma said there will be other pockets of orange spread throughout the stadium.

Also just because you don't have a tix now doesn't mean you're not going to have one. There's always last minute cancellations or an extra tix or 2 floating around.

Stubhub has some in the sections 123 & 125. There could be some KC fans in between so it would be an Orange sandwich

make sure you wear some UA cold gear under that-those training tops are nice for a cool Houston night. Not for a cold late NOV night in KC.

Agree. I've made that mistake at sporting park. KC forecast is for high of 36 on Saturday. Sunset will be at 4:49 pm.

FWIW, sun aside, it generally feels a degree or two warmer inside the stadium due to shelter from the wind.

Id say the last two playoff games with Houston at sporting park, the weather was good to ideal. Doubtful we'll see that type of climate nov 23rd. (In other words, comparison could be a red herring).

    Safe travels.

damn MLS-if we win we go to SLC (in all probability), we lose, KC hosts. KC or SLC first week in December. Do those pitches have heating coils? This could be dangerous for the players-seriously.

MLS-next time just play through the damn break. Make sure this never happens again.

As if there could be any doubt -- game will be in KC.

I will arrive Friday. Depart Sunday. Driving from Austin. Going through SE Louisiana to pick up my brother who has never been to a playoff game but has fallen in love with that little orange team in that weird commy sport.

This will be an epic road trip. An Odyssey.

We need a Friday night BBQ meetup. Then everyone into the Hooters Saturday pre-game. Push out all non-orange with singing.

Safe travels to all. See you in KC.

As the BS weatherman, I've been keeping up with the weekend forecast. The trip up has been looking wet for as long as I've been checking and that hasn't changed. But everything else keeps changing. Like I said, the first time I saw KC's Saturday night forecast it said snow likely and a low of 19. Since then the snow has been removed but the temps range from 23 to 18. The weird thing is that when I got up yesterday the Houston forecast for Sunday night said 60% chance for snow and 32. But that was only on WU on my computer, not on the ipad app. And later the snow was changed to rain and the temps went up, a bit. Odd.
If it does turn out clear and cold in KC, that's ok. The wind is supposed to die out in the evening, and I think the 20,000 warm bodies should keep the temps up some. Regardless, dress warm and dress orange!

Any one find a good deal in a good jacket. I might have to buy pants for this game.

While I would love to be decked out in Orange for the game it looks like I'll be in my ski jacket which is more suited for a Portland fan. I did hit Academy for a bright Orange hunters sock hat. Maybe Hooters can provide enough inner warmth where I can get away with my thermals and Dynamo jersey, but I'm not sure the stadium staff would not let me in the gates at that point LOL

Seriously, I think layers of warm shirts, then a Dynamo sweatshirt or jacket and scarf would be good for a few hours. Gloves and hat are essential though.

But what do I know? I'm from the coast. I'm cold when it's below 60.

The wind is my biggest concern. I've never been to the SKC stadium so I really don't know if the wind gusts through there. 20 degrees with no wind is not a big deal, 20 degrees with wind is miserable.

I was considering trying to find a giant orange trash bag, anyone know where to find that? I'd just wear that as a poncho and be warm and Orange!

This. A thousand times, this. Extremities are so important. Doubling up on socks (or wool if you've got them). Keep the ears covered. All that.

I'm not sure why cold doesn't affect me like others.

I guess I had my cup this morning.
