The game against Puntarenas Arenas was definitely a home game. I wasn't sure about the game vs. SKC, I guess it was a home game too but I was thinking it was more of an exhibition, though I think it was USOC maybe.
Well it depends upon what you're counting. I agree I wouldn't count going to CS or Austin except that I was just counting road trips. I was pumping up my numbers.
I was checking my records. Right now we have played FCD and SKC 24 times each in official competitions (MLS, MLS Playoffs, USOC, CCC/CCL, SuperLiga). So next Saturday will put KC over the top with the 25th game. (W-L-T) Against SKC: 9-6-9 Against FCD: 11-6-7 Next most games against are: NYR, DCU, CHV with 22 games. LAG with 21 games. NER with 20 games.
Frankly I was a little surprised by all the demand for it -- this is no 4.5 hour stroll up I-45 to Robertson BBVA Compass Stadium North. But people are nuts about getting to this game.
I was in Tucson early this year. Me and my son got to hang out on the field at half time, just pushed my luck ... easier with a baby!
It's still a while, but the forecast for KC looks clear but getting colder. Yesterday WU said the low Saturday night would be 34, tonight the low has gone down to 24. The high Saturday is 41, on Sunday 37. Brrr, but probably about what one could expect. At least no blizzards, yet.
Spoke too soon. This morning it says there is a 50% chance for snow Saturday during the day, clearing at night. High 41, low 25. It will change....
Should be fun then i guess.... I'm not too prepared for cold weather. (and good news! bringing a +1 )
The thing about preparing for the cold, everybody needs to wear layers UNDER their orange. It does no good to wear an orange jersey under a black coat. People need to hit up the Dynamo store for Dynamo jackets or at the least go to Academy and get an orange coat....
