2-1 james scores the first and draws a penalty late for Falcao to win for us.

    2-1 win for us :)

No result would surprise me though

    It's a friendly...
The result won't mean much. If we learn something from this match and can improve on it then it will be a good game for us. Besides the second keeper needs some playing time with the team.

I hope we play with more our less our best team in the first half as Colombia is the strongest opponent we faced in a long time so this experience can be really valuable. Second half to try some new things.

Kompany, Lombaerts injured, Van Buyten ill & Vermaelen doubtful. Looks like Vertonghen will be lonely in defense :D

With Belgium's defense being relatively weak I expect a positive result.
But as Crzd always says, we have made GKs in the past look like Oliver Kahn so I won't be surprised with a draw or a loss.:p

Although Belgium has lots of injuries at their best position (defense), the subs are still pretty good. I'm expecting a 3-1 to Belgium. Our midfield will dominate them and their questionable defense will feel the pain our big attackers bring.

If Perea does some mental blunders I won't be surprised by a 3-1 score in favor of Belgium. If Zapata starts I would be more comfortable.

Your midfield is sick, but our attack through the wings will exploit your biggest weakness. I don't think it will be an easy win for either team

We don't have our starting keeper. Your 2nd sting is at Liverpool. Our 2nd string goalie is either a 42 year old or a 23 year old that play in Colombia. Our loss is bit bigger in this area. It's also cold as shit right now I hear in Belgium. Our defense is not good even if we had our starting 11. Lost of Zuniga is pretty huge for us. We aren't the same team without him attacking and defending the right flank. Everyone is also pretty bummed we don't have Quintero who isn't a starter for us yet but is very promising.

I actually like that it isn't out best 11 vs your best 11 because when we play at the World Cup I want it to be exciting. Hell I don't even mind if we lose. 3rd times always the charm and beating you guys in Knockout rounds >>>>>> then winning tomorrow.

LOL ... pre-match excuses, I'd like to add some too ... but come on this is a friendly, the result doesn't matter. When we meet in a competitive match, f'yeah then they should go all out ... now it's just about getting the team ready for the summer.

27F in Avon, CT while it's 58F in Brussels ... still mild/chilly ... will be cloudy tomorrow too but there could be a few scattered showers (I expect November rain ... towards the end of December we might see snow but usually it's not cold enough). Lately we've had plenty of mild winters and it's still autumn.

That's our crazed. He has a point regarding the keepers. Ospina was our MOTM at least 4 or 5 times in the qualifiers and a big reason why they scored so few goals on us. Other than that, I trust our coach to make the proper adjustments and try to hold that ball away from Belgium and use our offensive punch. It is going to be a fun match to watch.

Usually the French fans are of the worrying kind ... Belgium is a mix of worrying and exuberance although we've started to tilt towards the Oranje-mania of the Dutch (fun loving beer guzzlers ... however in Belgium, they actually know how to brew real beer) ... most of us don't buy into the 'Belgian hype' yet QFs should be achievable ... I'll offer you a different kind of Kool-Aid to drink:

    ----------------- Carlos Sanchez----------- Aldo Ramirez

    Se
habla de ese 11 para el partido de mañana. No me disgusta. No cambia mucho respecto a lo que le gusta a Pekerman.

Me gusta ver a Aldo remplazando a Aguilar.
