hehe it might not to you, but i see the # represents something on its own and taking away from the phrase. I wont lose any sleep over it I just thought it would be more inspiring if it was less commercial.
is a silly fashion .....all people now talk in that way.......but is inoffensive....i know that is frsutating of how easy people is influenciate..... but really isnt a big deal, this case ....adidas is playing with that for the other side they introduced the image of the sombrero volteao a national simbol... so 50-50 but sincerely #unidos por un pais is the same that unidos por un pais or alonso13 and alonso#13
my initial reaction was... ok., it wasnt necessary. but after thinking about it, its a nice way to spark or bring awareness to a movement, an idea etc. The internet and social media is prevalent in our lives, and this hashtag allows millions of ppl to look into it further and discover the meaning behind it. I could do with out it. But its definitely not an eyesore, and has less to do with being too "commercialized". The meaning behind that phrase is what matters.
lol you got me with the alonso13 but I created this username years before twitter came on the scene, and you are right my main gripe is the ease that people have/will be influenced by this hashtag phenomenon. Definitely a smart move by ADIDAS in terms of marketing.
Off topic, but I thought that I would get 15 more points after I reached 100 likes. I've been shafted!!! Hahaha
looking at Adidas.com I can't get the yellow, orange, red or whatever other color they come up with Nothing on EBay either.... Money making situation for the Colombianos living in Colombia on this forum I'm starving for some Colombian gear! Also, just a note on the "commercialization" of the # and yadayadayada.... It's 2014 boys. FIFA is a monster at marketing and making money any way it can...just look at the 2022 mess they're still trying to justify. Look at some of the biggest most prestigious stadiums in the world....all have some Corporate name attached. So at the end of the day, big time futbol is (and has not been for a long time)not "for the people"....sad but true. As long as the product on and off the field is improved, I really dont care. Just my .02
I really don't know how to react; the German one is unique in it's own way, the Spanish is hit and miss, and the Argentinean is pretty much as traditional but 'new' as it gets.
