Maybe, I don't remember. But I'm damn sure that when Espn started showing Mexico games. Univision started showing Germany and Italy games that Espn Deportes used to show

 

that is correct.. I know about the french because of when UDN started showing Ligue 1 games last year they also started showing the French NT games.. I remember watching the France vs. Spain from paris on Telefutura..

 

Based on beinsportplay.tv schedule (which is their most accurate), beINSport will NOT have the 1st leg of the Jordan v Uruguay match on Wednesday, November 13th. This leaves One World Sport as likely the only broadcaster of this match. While few subscribe to the channel (available on Dish and small market cable providers) they do provide a live feed of their channel for free via their website. Still awaiting confirmation.

UEFA games confimed on ESPN 3: all 4 games on Friday 11/15 and 3 games on Tuesday 11/19 with Sweden vs. Portugal showing as locked (scheduled to be shown on ESPN Deportes).

Well if you've ever seen "The Two Escobars" you'll know what kind of pressure they were under from the Colombian cartels, etc.

 

Terrible memories. I will be in Brasil for this world cup, and all I am hopping is that Colombia makes it to the quarterfinals. They have a wonderful midfield and forwards, but the defense is still a question mark. I love Yepes, but at 37 he is more of a liability.

What channel is televising the first leg in the US? Bein doesn't have it on their schedule.

 

I just saw a few post ago said One World Sport has the 1st leg and Bein the 2nd.

 

Yeah I was watching the NASL Soccer Bowl 2013 via ESPN3 last night and there was a commercial promoting upcoming programs on One World Sport and they mentioned Wednesdays Leg #1 of the Jordan-Uruguay WCQer will be on the network. Cool that you will be able to watch online via their website - although I'll have to miss it due to work.

 

Same here I'll just be tracking the score on my iphone. At least I'll be able to see the 2nd leg on Bein.

 

A few updates and notes before I post the full schedules here:

- Both legs of the Mexico v New Zealand match have been switched from Unimas to the main Univision channel.
- As others have posted here, the 1st leg of the Jordan v Uruguay will be exclusive to One World Sport. You can watch the live stream at www.oneworldsports.com/watch
- espn3.com have added the 2nd leg of France v Ukraine to their schedule. They do not have it listed on ESPN Deportes on delay but I believe it will be added.
- Both legs of the France v Ukraine matchup will also be available on Tv5.
- ESPN Deportes' schedule on November 19th is a bit of a disappointment in that they will follow up LIVE coverage of Sweden v Portugal with a tape delay of South Africa v Spain; followed by a tape delay of Netherlands v Colombia. Showing delayed coverage of friendlies before showing the playoff matches? (which won't be on until Wednesday & Thursday, respectively). Head scratcher...

The name The Soccer Bowl, goes back to the 1970's with the Pele Era NASL. It was used as the name of the NASL Championship game from 1975 to 1984 (when the league shut down).

The name was resurrected in 2011 for the current version of the NASL.

 

No surprise as Univision has been showing France's home games..

Beginning Wednesday, November 13, ESPN networks will combine to air 15 FIFA World Cup qualifying playoff and friendly matches in the week ahead from the CONCACAF and UEFA regions. Highlighting the schedule is the much-anticipated matchup between Mexico and New Zealand – the playoff series that pits the fourth-ranked team in CONCACAF vs. the Oceania champion – with the winner advancing to next year’s World Cup in Brazil.

The first leg of the home-and-home series will be played Wednesday, November 13, at 3:15 pm ET on ESPN and WatchESPN. Commentator Fernando Palomo and analyst Alejandro Moreno with reporter John Sutcliffe will call the match from Mexico City.
