Not shockingly I've been right most of the way from 2007 to now. What's most interesting to me is that people still moan about lack of Dispatch coverage, NBC4 coverage, ect. The Crew target demographic left those mediums years ago. There's very little in the way of free media today because traditional outlets reach a very low % of your target audience. If Crew wants to be more relevant it's PR folks should be focusing all their efforts on Twitter, FB, and YouTube. I tweeted yesterday using #crew96 and almost right away got a response from a ticket rep from Crew. I will get my tickets from him because it's an example of someone 'getting it.' I fear that this level of understanding is sparse at 1 Black & Gold Blvd.

We complain around here about the Johnny Come Lately fans in the Pacific North West and their attitude of superiority. We may find them "uncool" in the highest order. But you know what? In their region they're the cool ones. It is cool to be a fan of those teams, cool to go to the games, cooler still to be a "Supporter", cool to wear the gear around town, etc. I'm not saying we need to be cool like they are. It would be nice to be cool though. Not hipster or lax bro or Seventeen, but our own brand of Crew cool.
That happens. My daughter was born in 2007. Previously I was able to pretty much do as I please thanks to a cool wife. And we lived in Clintonville so getting to the stadium was not an issue. Fast forward a few years, I now have a 6 year old and a 3 three year old, I live well north of Polaris, so on and so forth.
So... Judging by how many old posters resurfaced for this thread.. Do many of you just lurk the boards now? I know that when I am not posting it is due to me not having time/interest/energy to sift and read the boards, which is happening much more as time passes.
