Yes Sir. Boston Billiards Club Nashua, 55 Northeastern Boulevard, Nashua. There should be around a dozen or so I'd guess. I can send you the FB invite if you want. RiRa in Providence is also hosting one.
If anyone can't make it to a bar, I think I might try privately streaming the game online on ustream. I'll post info 15 minutes before the game. All you'll need is the url and the channel password. I'll probably ask that you PM me to get the info. It wouldn't be HD or anything, just 540p compressed. So better than your average illegal internet stream.
I'm very optimistic about the match tonight. I feel if we don't play bunker ball and defend for the full 90 we will pull this out. I see Agudelo catching a goal on a counter attack and putting this series to bed. If we can weather the storm of the first 20 mins I see our boys getting the job done.
It's on FIOS live at 9pm on a channel called Team10, way at the top of the HD channels. On mine (Burlington feed), it's channel 1499. This can help you find it in your area: https://www.tivo.com/tivo-tco/provider.do?original_url=%2Ftivo-tco%2Fsearch%2Fsimple.do%3FsearchFornew%2Bengland%2Brevolution%26dispatchsimplesearch Enter your zip, choose provider, enter "New England Revolution" in search field.
They should have fined him and shut him up after his stupid bleating after game 1. Now he feels empowered to take it even further (but, that's how his team plays - they play to the edge and when they don't get called, they feel entitled to keep it up and take it a step further). Chance Myers two-hander to Rowe when his back was turned, exhibit A. Colleen(!) sending Diego off with a shove every time the play moves on, exhibit B.
It frustrates me that it's so hard to get these playoff games on TV nationally. I'm in New York, and they'll cover the Red Bulls no problem, but it's pretty difficult for me to find ways to watch the Revs. Anyway, I'm super excited and can't wait for this to happen!
The CSNNE Director of Marketing says no (on the FIOS part). the And is that they will replay the game at 2am.
Right I have FIOS and the Team 10 channel you need to be already subscribed to. It is a NBA League Pass/Direct Kick channel. I actually just tweeted the director of marketing for CSNNE and he said no fios for tonight. @jewishzig Unfortunately there will be no plus channel on FIOS. @midnightriders has a list of viewing locals. We will join in progress
that is the direct kick package. Hopefully for fios people, who don't have direct kick it is unblocked.
Keg Party at Monty's although he will be at the Boston Billiards Club. PM anyone of the board except Monty for the address.
MLS Cup Playoff Pick 'Em: Editors like Sporting KC in leg 2, split on series winner vs. Revolution November 6, 2013 MLSsoccer staff MLSsoccer.com No one picking the Revs to win outright tonight, but 6 of 9 pick the Revs to take the series...
What are the odds that the ref protects the skill players against outright thuggery? I will be watching the ref carefully in the first 15 to see what kind of tone he sets. If he lets the players bounce each other around with only a finger wag than release the Kracken (Dorman) and hammer the shiat out of them again. Tell Barrett that one of the SKC players slept with his girl and feed him raw meat for the second half. I'm tired of our guys getting hacked and we need a Franchino moment to let them know we wont lie down for that crap. Beat them at their own game and watch their tears flow. Delicious tears....
South Shore MA watching locations, anyone? (closer to Cape, not to Quincy) ..and what are the other televised events are a "watching party" up against tonight? Battle of winless Celts v NOrleans, of course. Any big college football tonight?
From MLSNET Real Salt Lake and Sporting Kansas City will both come into their games this week down one goal after losing over the weekend on the road. Both of these teams should feel that losing by only one goal in a road playoff game is not too big a challenge to overcome. But consider this warning: In the 26 playoff series since 2007, eight teams have come into their home second leg down exactly one goal. Only two of these teams have been able to advance to the next round of the playoffs -- the 2007 Houston Dynamo (which had to rely on extra time and a red card to beat FC Dallas) and the 2009 Chicago Fire, against New England.
I can't figure out how to PM you, but if you're doing this then I'd love the info. Haven't been on here much in recent years, but former regular at games who's now stuck working in Pennsylvania since college. Thanks a lot if you do set this up.
LDD -- Not sure how to PM you to ask to share the url and pw. Do you mind forwarding that along to me when you set it up?
