    Small roster.

Highly doubt Landon, Omar, Zusi, Besler, Beckerman, EJ and Evans are sent home after the game in KC. That would make little sense. Go into Panama with 13 players? Yeah right. I know some fans expect to see MLSers released to go back home but I see little chance of that happening unless a guy on a yellow picks one up on Friday.

Looks like Dempsey wasn't good to go

I agree, with only 17 field players on the roster, I don't see anyone outside of Rimando being sent home after the KC game.

...and since RSL has no matches during this time frame, no need to send him home either...

Definitely would have wanted to see Lichaj get a shot especially over a guy like Lichaj.

Surprised that Goodson gets left of the team.

Still have no idea how Castillo is ranked above both Chandler and Lichaj to the point the latter two can't even get a freaking look.

Yep looks pretty good to me, no real surprises other than the omissions due to injuries. You add in Dempsey, Bradley, F. Johnson and that is pretty much our A team.

We already knew this I think. Dempsey did not play last night, nor was he even listed on the game day roster as a possible late game sub.

    He is obviously not healthy

Injuries, like Onyewu in October 2009, happen. But since these matches count, it always made the most sense for Klinsmann to call in the guys he rates highest.

Only 6 defenders. Cameron is the only backup RB and only backup CB.

Solid, but... outside of Boyd I don't really see any new faces from what we've already seen in qualifiers. An extra outside back or 2 would've been nice. I guess Cameron is our cover for our 2 CBs, but seems like Goodson should've been called in. If Chandler, Lichaj and Goodson were all there to make a 23 man roster I'd be real happy about it.

Yes, and JK can't start picking and choosing and playing favorites. Worst thing he can do is cater to one MLS coach over another. He'd have to release all MLS players or none. Can't say LAG's situation is more important than Sea's, SKC's or RSL's, so Landon/Omar can go but others have to stay. And I brought up that example as LAG fans continue to be the most vocal.

Throw in those 3 and Goodson for Boyd, and I feel like this would be Klinsmann's 23 if the World Cup started tomorrow.

Based on this roster, I will say these start:

    --------------------Altidore------------------------
    --------------------Johnson-----------------------
    -Johannsson-------------------------Donovan---
    ----------------Jones-----Mix---------------------
    Beasley-----Besler-------Gonzo-----Cameron--
    --------------------Howard-----------------------

Wouldnt be surprised AJ take Johnson's role, Bedoya on the right and Donovan on the left...AJ isn't a winger
