    My team would be:
    Jussi
    Joey, Tommo, Kiwi, Rat
    Downing, Noble, Nolan, Rav, Jarvis
    Vaz te.

I would leave out Diame. Well I would leave out Nolan however that is not going to happen!

I agree, Diame has no end product which undermines all his good work. Isn't Joey back. Might be good off the bench.

    Bollocks to this!
We're difficult to score against so they aint gonna score.
We haven't got a striker so we'll have to score from midfield. Ravel to score while a Spurs defender is busy following Maiga wandering aimlessly around the park.
Spurs will get one back because for Defoe its personal and Diame will give the ball away needlessly after doing something brilliant.
Noble will score from a penalty because the sorry excuses we have for strikers would much rather fall over in the penalty area than actually take a shot and its got to work sometime!
    Nil desperandum!
    Nunc est bibendum!
    Come on You Irons!

We're doomed! The chances of us winning must be a million to one.

But million to one chances work out nine times out of ten.
    So overall I'm optimistic

    From the Beeb
Stewart Downing starts for West Ham, while Ricardo Vaz Te also comes into the side.

West Ham XI: Jaaskelainen, Demel, Tomkins, Reid, Rat, Noble, Morrison, Nolan, Downing, Diame, Vaz Te

I dont know whether Maiga is doing the carpentry this week

He hasnt been up to snuff lately. Whether its because Rats playing in his space or whatever he deserves to be on the bench

    So far so good.
I like this fluid system. Just show that we were waisting our bloody time with Maiga.

Ive thought for years that Tomkins was the dogs bollocks. I think his career ironically was harmed by his participation in the Olympics last year. He reads the game so well in the long tradition of West Ham defenders

Then Sam was using him as a holding midfielder for awhile. Definitely has the talent if he can get the games consistently.

That was a heck of a chance for Defoe.

    Jussi is there.

Youve got to admire Vaz te's confidence if not his decision making
