I don't have a breakdown of what is allotted for what. I only know that josh has access to the AA treasurer account. I'm assuming Charles does as well. I wouldn't be the best person to ask about finances, but I'll try my best to get further answers for you guys.

 

And I don't mean to be rude, because this isn't you job. But all merchandise has to be approved by Arsenal to be sold through an official group. And that's why they're protective of the crest and why they changed it. They don't want anyone using it unless they get money from it.

There has to be someone there that knows this stuff.

And sorry to everyone else for polluting this thread. I hope I haven't stepped on any toes, or annoyed anyone that has more rights to bitch about this than me. But I hope I've moved this forward, and I intend to keep being a bitch about it. Maybe having an outsider helps.

 

Which is why I believe I've been told to have clubs not use the crest. If you use the crest you need approval. If you use something original, it doesn't matter. And you're right. Why would Arsenal be ok with us using their property when they're not getting compensated for it? Your point makes sense.

I have a lot of issues with how Arsenal America is being run but understand you're only able to work with what you have available to you in regards to ticketing. You've also come on to try and be as transparent as possible and answer questions directly so I really commend you for that. I know you're not involved with any of the current or past wrong doing and might actually be the only "board member" who I can say is actually doing their role responsibly.

 

I'm fairly positive that Arsenal will not allow even supporters groups to use the crest. They'll let you say Arsenal and whatever creative thing you can come up with.

There is a very generic logo with the crest that Arsenal approves to SCs. Basically replace the word America with whatever the name of the supporters group might be and that's what they are referring to.

An amazingly cheap deal of $5000 a year membership fee which doesn't include money toward tickets. I also require paid services of several big booty strippers and porn stars as well as regular massages from busty Japanese masseuses.

The only logo we, and all other SC's, can use now. Just change the last line to the SC's name.

I sent my letter, with the corrections you guys gave me. Thank you. I know some disagreed with it, but I think it's Jill's job and there isn't anything wrong with bringing things to her attention.

I intend to become more involved. If AA ever allows for elections, I'd love to run for treasurer. I know an accountant who said he'll look over the books for free. And I promise complete transparency in all money.

But that'd require us all signing up and giving money away. Oh well... At least I tried.
