So why did George drop out anyway? Was he going to be appointed President himself? If so, why not take that role and then demand transparency once in power?

If you check texts, you'll see I told George I'd back him 100%. You had a golden chance, but now that chance is gone, so you'll have to give me time to try to do it my way.

He was set to but Josh is very much still in control of things. A reason I believe Charles is silent and a reason I know Nick can't give you things like a finance or paid member number. We tried to get Nick to work with us but he was greedy and wanted that VP position.

Oh I have the texts Nick. I'll be glad to post screenshots tomorrow of things related to this where YOU wouldn't join us. You're such a coward so don't even try to spin it that way. When we were calling for transparency you were only thinking about how you could gain a higher position than branch liaison.

Philly doesn't think you're a terrible person. Far from it. But we do think your approach is rather spineless and basically weak. The thing is, we've been hearing that things will get better and change for how long now? How long has this thread been up? is that not enough? I know how long George was pleading with Josh to do something. It took so much time just to end up being basically told that the current powers don't care for transparency and don't want to change the way things are working thus there will basically be no support.
What does that even mean? Pleading with Josh and then hearing "that's too bad" about transparency and not getting any support is that strenght on the inside?

At the end of the day, becoming president isn't really going to do a whole lot if you have the former powers that are running this circus are hiding all this stuff and are the reason you became president (because they were nice enough to allow someone outside of their circle to be the "president". Is it legitimate power? Is it REALLY power? Or is it simply just a facade with Josh and the clan in the background?

? A VP of the junta-style board of Arsenal America?

But theoretically, the President would have the power to dismiss the treasurer. He really should have taken the job and then cleaned house and set up a process to move forward with elections and financial transparency.

A coup under a different name. We thought we had the backing of others involved with this to take it to all members of Arsenal America for transparency  I still don't understand why we don't.

Anyone have the current bylaws? Not sure they can just dismiss people that should be elected positions.

That title holds all the power, both within the SC and with Arsenal. To pass it up just because you couldn't see the books first seems like a poor choice.

I don't think there are any bylaws. Were there any when you were Pres?

I've been around the block, man. Your approach got me blackballed three years ago. Did I say that I was behind G when he was gonna be pres? Yes. Did I say that I couldn't start ranting with you guys once yiu opted out? Yes.

Where were you three years ago, dude? Could have used the back up. Unfortunately, I've seen how it works and blue you have to wait out the process.

What are you doing to others right now? I'm here right now, and i'm calling you out for it. Stay bitter about what happened to you years ago, it doesn't change what's going on right now.

I'll have to look. I want to say it was a one page deal that lacked any real detail. Well not dealing with the insane $25k debt spent a lot of time trying to figure out about 503(c) and if we could go that route and adjusting position from annual to two year terms so each year we did not have a totally new board (that of course assumed we would have more than the one election. But I can't remember if those discussions were that was for a rewrite or creation from scratch, been way too many years.

Yet you want everything right now. Nick saw a chance to undo the mess made by Josh three years ago and he took it. So instead of saying let's set a date when by laws can be voted on, etc... You are bitching about someone stepping up to the plate.

So which is it going to be: help with the change or moan for the sake of moaning.

AGM in Vegas next summer. It can be done and there can be votes. Beer will flow and Anti pays for the strippers. Rick B shall return too.

I did to try and stay civil without name calling but you are acting like a scumbag. You're bitter about things that happened to you in the past and trying to take it out on everyone else now from a power grab you think you have but you really don't.

Did I say right now? What I'm trying to stop is another coup. Open the floor up and create transparency. That's the point you should then proceed from.
