Boot are ridiculously expensive these days, and us boot geeks don't really help because we buy everything! So boot companies can get away with producing about 10 colourways a season.

At least this return seems like a genuine one, boots shouldn't do that and I hope you get given a refund. We have all seen people return boots for really minor faults like slight separation etc.

I always say, unless you are a collector, boots are to be warn and we should enjoy them while they last.

Those black/white ones look amazing... I wonder when they will be released, doesn't seem too far away because there have been a lot of leaks lately.

I bought my daughter a pair of Tiempo Mystic AG's (black/volt) as a back-up boot. It has been fantastic for her (also 15 and trains/plays 4-6 times a week - mainly on turf). Leather is very soft and AG outsole is perfect for turf and very dry/hard fields. Her grass boots are a Vapour 7 and a pair of Maestri 3's. The price on the Mystic makes it very appealing as a practice/back-up boot. I would even consider the FG version if she played more on grass.

Last I heard, K-leather around the forefoot and a leather-like synthetic elsewhere.

nike only states K-leather in their official description of the boot. that being said i don't believe the heel section is k leather

Does anyone own a pair of Lunar Gato II's? If so how's the sizing? I just got a pair and read that you should go half a size up, but there is a little extra room at the top, about a finger width.

I personally found them true to size. I tend to wear between an 8 and 8.5, and I fit into an 8 very well.

Edit: That said, that was only when I tried them on in store; I don't actually own a pair.

A couple stores in Asia selling the Tiempo Legend Vs already. They should be released in the next month or so, pretty excited for them, they all look really nice.

The newer pics I think help a bit. But I'll wait to pass my final judgement until I see them in person.

Well, they have altered them a bit since your pics. The outsole is different, the upper as changed a bit and that lip of white around the bottom seems to have vanished on the black model.

Regarding the fit of the Nike Tiempo Legend Elite Clash edition....

I wear a size 9 us in all current model Puma boots, King SL, PowerCat, and EvoSpeed 1.

9.5 in EvoSpeed 1.2 and Puma King 2013.

I fit into a 9.5 Nike Elastico Finale II and Elastico Pro II. How would these compare to a size 9.5 US (9 uk) Tiempo Elite.... How do they fit? Small, large, true? I really want a pair, and found a good price to snatch up, but worried they may be to small...

I must admit I'm getting old and my mind is slipping: is the number on the insole representative of how many special CR versions there are? Or am I making that up?

I'm pretty sure it is - I think these are one of the first CR7 colourways I've liked. He will probably wear them for about 5 games and then there will be another model out ....
